ඕස්ටේ්රලියාවේ බි්රස්බේන් ක්රීඩා පිටියේදී මේ වන විට පැවැත්වෙන ශ්රී ලංකා ඉන්දීය දිවා රාත්රී එක්දින තරඟයේදී මුලින්ම පන්දුවට පහර දුන් ශ්රී ලංකා කණ්ඩායම සිය පන්දු වාර 50 අවසානයේ කඩුළු 6ක් දැවී ලකුණු 289ක් රැස්කරගෙන සිටී.
ශ්රී ලංකා කණ්ඩායම වෙනුවෙන් ලහිරු තිරිමාන්න ලකුණු 62ක්, තිලකරත්න දිල්ෂාන් ලකුණු 51ක්, ඇන්ජලෝ මැතිවුස් නොදැවී ලකුණු 49ක්, මහේල ජයවර්ධන ලකුණු 45ක්, දිනේෂ් චන්දිමාල් ලකුණු 36ක් ලබා ගත්තේය.
ආරම්භ පිතිකරුවන් ලෙස පිටියට පිවිසි මහේල ජයවර්ධන සමඟ තිලකරත්න දිල්ෂාන් පළමු කඩුල්ල වෙනුවෙන් ලකුණු 95ක සම්බන්ධතාවයක් පැවැත්වීම විශේෂත්වයකි.

Mahela may be the best captain, but he is not a quality player. He did not support Dilshan. We openly criticized Sanath forcing him to retire. When he overtook the highest individual test score, jubilated excessively while Sanath was in the dressing room.

මහේල ට විරුද්දව Comments දාපු කාලකන්නි හැත්තෑ ගේ පස්ස පැත්තේ බෝල රින්ගවන්න ඕනේ..!!! නොදකින් ලංකාවේ ඉන්න අපේම කාලකන්නි හැත්ත..!! I don’t say Dilshan is a bad Captain but country cannot sacrifice some more to get him trained at continues losses where as SLC need money by putting them by winning track. Also its our pride as well as People can be charm at this Juncture with cricket. There re lot connect with Cricket. So mahela were the best choice at present and he does it best. Everybody happy ..!! What do u say ?
