ජනපතිගේ ජනප‍්‍රියත්වය දැන් 75% පැන්නා..- වසන්ත

 ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා බලයට පත්වන විට පැවති සියයට 48ක ඡන්ද ප්‍රතිශතය, මේ වන විට රටේ ජනතාවගෙන් සියයට 75 ඉක්මවූ ඉහළ ජන ප්‍රසාදයක් සහ විශ්වාසයක් බවට පත්ව ඇතැයි වෙළෙඳ, වාණිජ, ආහාර සුරක්ෂිතතා සහ සමුපකාර සංවර්ධන අමාත්‍ය වසන්ත සමරසිංහ මහතා ප්‍රකාශ කළේය.

පොළොන්නරුවේදී පැවති ජන රැළිය අමතමින් අමාත්‍යවරයා මේ බව සඳහන් කළ අතර, මෙරට ගොවි ජනතාව මුහුණ දෙන ගැටලුවලට විසඳුම් ලබාදෙමින් කෘෂිකාර්මික ක්ෂේත්‍රය නගාසිටුවීමට රජය ගෙන ඇති සහ ඉදිරියට ගැනීමට නියමිත ක්‍රියාමාර්ග පිළිබඳවද එහිදී කරුණු පැහැදිලි කළේය.

"අනුර දිසානායක සහෝදරයා ජනාධිපති ධුරයට පත්වන අවස්ථාවේදී තිබුණේ 48%ක ඡන්ද පදනමක්. එහෙත් වත්මන් පාලනය කෙරෙහි ඇති විශ්වාසය හේතුවෙන් අද වන විට මෙරට ජනගහනයෙන් සියයට 75කට වැඩි පිරිසක් එතුමන්ගේ නායකත්වය පිළිගනිමින් ආශිර්වාද කරනවා. සාමාන්‍යයෙන් මෙරට පත් වූ ආණ්ඩු වසරක් හෝ දෙකක් ගතවන විට ජනප්‍රියත්වය පිරිහී ගියද, ජනතාවාදී නායක අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක සහෝදරයා දිනෙන් දින ජනතා විශ්වාසය වර්ධනය කර ගනිමින් රට ඉදිරියට මෙහෙයවමින් සිටිනවා.

විශේෂයෙන්ම එළඹෙන කන්නය සඳහා ගොවීන්ට අවශ්‍ය පහසුකම් කල්තියා සලසාදීමට අප පියවර ගත්තා. මැදපෙරදිග යුද ගැටුම් හමුවේ ලෝක වෙළෙඳපොළේ පොහොර මිල ඉහළ ගියද, ගොවිජන සේවා මධ්‍යස්ථාන හරහා විවෘත වෙළෙඳපොළට වඩා රුපියල් හයදහසක්, හත්දහසක් අඩුවෙන් පොහොර මිටියක් ගොවියාට ලබාදීමට කටයුතු කළේ ඒ වෙනුවෙන් වැයවන අමතර මුදල රජය විසින් දැරීමෙනුයි.

මීට අමතරව ඇළවේලි, වැව් ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණය කිරීම මෙන්ම ගබඩා පහසුකම් පිළිසකර කිරීමද මේ වන විටත් ආරම්භ කර තිබෙනවා. වී අලෙවි මණ්ඩලය හරහා මෙන්ම පෞද්ගලික සහ සුළු හා මධ්‍ය පරිමාණ වී මෝල් හිමියන්ට පොලී රහිත ණය පහසුකම් ලබාදෙමින් ගොවියාගේ අස්වැන්න සඳහා සාධාරණ මිලක් තහවුරු කිරීමට කටයුතු සම්පාදනය කර අවසන්.

එමෙන්ම උතුරේ රතු ළූණු, දඹුල්ල, අනුරාධපුරය, මාතලේ සහ පොළොන්නරුව ප්‍රදේශවල බී ළූණු මෙන්ම බදුල්ල සහ බණ්ඩාරවෙල ගොවීන්ගේ අර්තාපල් අස්වැන්න මිලදී ගැනීම සහ බඩඉරිඟු සඳහා ස්ථාවර මිලක් නියම කිරීම ඇතුළු ගොවි ජනතාවගේ සියලු බලාපොරොත්තු ඉටුකරන සැබෑ ජනතා රජයක් ලෙස අප මෙම ක්‍රියාමාර්ග අඛණ්ඩව ඉදිරියට ගෙන යනවා." යැයි අමාත්‍යවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් කියා සිටියේය.

Minister Highlights Surge in Public Support for Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s Leadership

The recent rise in public support for President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has reached an impressive 75%, a significant increase from the 48% backing at the time he assumed office, according to Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security, and Cooperative Development, Wasantha Samarasinghe.

Speaking to a large gathering in Polonnaruwa, the minister detailed the government’s proactive measures aimed at resolving the challenges faced by the agricultural community and advancing the agricultural sector. He underscored that the current administration enjoys heightened public trust, which has grown notably under Dissanayake's leadership.

“When Anura Dissanayake took office, he commanded 48% support. However, due to the growing confidence in the current governance, over 75% of the population now affirms their endorsement of his leadership,” Samarasinghe asserted. He further noted that, while many governments witness a decline in popularity within a year or two, Dissanayake continues to strengthen public trust day by day, steering the nation forward.

The minister emphasized the government’s commitment to providing necessary support to farmers, especially in light of rising fertilizer prices in the global market due to the ongoing conflict in the Central East. To cushion the financial burden on farmers, the government is facilitating the provision of fertilizers at reduced rates—around six to seven thousand rupees less per metric ton compared to open market prices.

In addition to this, ongoing initiatives include the renovation of irrigation systems and improvement of storage facilities. The government is also working with the Rice Marketing Board and collaborating with private and small to medium-sized mill owners to ensure fair prices for farmers' harvests by offering them interest-free loan facilities.

Furthermore, efforts to purchase red onions from the North, along with B- and D-grade onions from Dambulla, Anuradhapura, Matale, and Polonnaruwa, are underway. The aim is to guarantee stable pricing for commodities such as yams, meeting the genuine expectations of the farming community in a manner that embodies the essence of a truly people's government, Minister Samarasinghe noted.
