 කෑගල්ල නගරයේ පිහිටි හෝටල් පරිශ්‍රයක ඊයේ (18) රාත්‍රී කාලයේ පැවති සාදයක් අතරතුර හටගත් නොසන්සුන් තත්ත්වයක් හේතුවෙන් සිදු වූ වෙඩි තැබීමකින් පුද්ගලයෙකු තුවාල ලබා තිබේ.

පොලිස් තොරතුරු වාර්තා කරන අන්දමට, අදාළ සාදය පැවැත්වෙමින් තිබියදී එහි සිටි පිරිසක් අතර බහින්බස්වීමක් හටගෙන ඇති අතර එය පසුව ගැටුමක් දක්වා වර්ධනය වී ඇත.

එම අවස්ථාවේදී ඇති වූ නොසන්සුන්කාරී වාතාවරණය සමනය කිරීමට හෝටලයේ සේවකයෙකු මැදිහත් වී ඇති බවත්, එහිදී ඔහු විසින් වායු රයිෆලයක් භාවිත කරමින් මෙම වෙඩි තැබීම සිදු කර ඇති බවත් මූලික පොලිස් විමර්ශනවලදී අනාවරණය වී ඇත.

ප්‍රහාරයෙන් තුවාල ලැබූ පුද්ගලයා කඩිනමින් කෑගල්ල ශික්ෂණ රෝහල වෙත ඇතුළත් කර ඇති අතර, සිද්ධියට අදාළව කෑගල්ල පොලිස් ස්ථානය මඟින් වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන මෙහෙයවනු ලබයි.

Gunfire Erupts During Party at Kegalle Hotel, One Wounded

A party held at a hotel premises in Kegalle turned chaotic last night (18), resulting in an individual being injured due to gunfire.

According to police reports, tensions escalated among attendees during the event, leading to a confrontation that quickly intensified into a violent clash.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that a hotel staff member intervened in an attempt to restore order, during which he allegedly discharged a firearm, specifically an air rifle, as per initial police investigations.

The injured individual was promptly admitted to Kegalle Teaching Hospital, and further inquiries into the incident are being conducted by the Kegalle Police Station.
