 හය ශ්‍රේණිය සඳහා හඳුන්වාදීමට නියමිත නව අධ්‍යාපන ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ සම්බන්ධයෙන් තවදුරටත් ගැටලු පවතින බව ලංකා ගුරු සංගමයේ ලේකම් ජෝසප් ස්ටාලින් පවසයි.

හෙතෙම මේ බව පැවසූයේ කොළඹ පැවති මාධ්‍ය හමුවකට එක්වෙමින් ඒ මහතා මේ බව පැවසීය.

මෙහිදී හෙතෙම පවසා සිටියේ මේ වන විට රජය විසින් රාජ්‍ය විශ්වවිද්‍යාල වෙත ළමුන් ඇතුළත් කර නොගෙන එහි අර්බුදයක් පවත්වාගෙන යමින් රාජ්‍ය නොවන විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රවර්ධන වැඩසටහන් සිදු කිරීම කනගාටුදායක තත්ත්වයක් බවයි.

මෙහිදී ඒ මහතා මෙසේද පැවසීය.

'මේ අධ්‍යාපන ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ සම්බන්ධයෙන් පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ අධ්‍යාපන පිළිබඳ කාරක සභාවල වගේම වෙනත් කමිටු වල අමාත්‍යවරිය මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් කතා කරමින් ඉන්නවා අධ්‍යාපනයේ විශාල වෙනසක් ගැන.නමුත් පාසල් පද්ධතියේ ගුරුවරු මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් දැනුවත් නෑ.

ලබන අවුරුද්දට අදාළව අධ්‍යාපන ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ කරන්න යනවා එක සහ දෙක ශ්‍රේණිව සහ හය ශ්‍රේණියේ.එතකොට හය ශ්‍රේණියේ අධ්‍යාපන ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ ලබන අවුරුද්දෙ සංශෝධනයන් කරලා ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනවා කීවට මේ වසරේ මේ වෙනකන් තියෙන මොඩියුල තමයි ලබාදෙන්න උපදෙස් ලබාදීලා තියෙන්නේ.එතකොට ඒ මොඩියුල වෙනස් වෙන්නේ නෑ.තියෙන මොඩියුල ටික තමයි පාවිච්චි වෙන්නේ.

ඉංග්‍රීසි භාෂාවට අදාළ මොඩියුල තමයි වෙනස් කරන්න තියෙන්නේ.එතකොට අනිත් ඒවා වෙනස් වෙන්නේ නෑ කියන එක තහවුරු කරලා තියෙන්නේ.එතකොට මේ ගැටුමට මොකක්ද තියෙන උත්තරේ.

අධ්‍යාපන නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යවරයා කියනවා ජාතික අධ්‍යාපන කොමිසම මේ වන විට ජනාධිපතිවරයට නව අධ්‍යාපන ප්‍රතිපත්තිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් ප්‍රතිපත්ති රාමුව ඉදිරිපත් කරලා තියෙන්නේ කියලා.එහෙම ප්‍රතිපත්ති රාමු ඉදිරිපත් කරනවා නම් ජනතාවත් එක්ක කතා කරලා. ජනතාවගේ අදහස් වලින් තොරව තමයි මේක කරලා තියෙන්නේ.

මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් ආණ්ඩුවේ ස්ථාවරය මොකක්ද.ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ වල අධ්‍යාපන පරිවර්තනයක් ගැන මේ අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යවරිය සහ නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යවරයා සාකච්ඡා කළාට පාර්ශ්ව දැනුවත් කරලා නෑ.

Concerns Over New Education Reforms Ahead of Grade Six Introduction

Joseph Stalin, the General Secretary of the Lanka Teachers' Union, has voiced ongoing concerns regarding the new educational reforms set to be introduced for Grade Six. He raised these issues during a recent media briefing held in Colombo.

Stalin emphasized the troubling situation where the government continues to face challenges in enrolling students into state universities while pursuing development programs for private universities. He expressed disappointment at this persistent issue.

Addressing the media, he remarked, "While discussions are ongoing in Parliament regarding significant changes in education, led by the Ministerial Committee on Education, teachers within the school system remain uninformed about these developments." He called attention to the upcoming educational reforms scheduled for next year, affecting both Grade One and Grade Two, as well as Grade Six.

He noted that the modifications to the Grade Six curriculum would only be implemented after extensive revisions are completed in the forthcoming year. However, he pointed out that educators have been instructed that the existing modules remain unchanged for this academic year. "Only the module pertaining to the English language is set to undergo changes while the other modules will remain as is," he confirmed.

The Deputy Minister of Education stated that the National Education Commission has currently presented a policy framework regarding the new educational policy to the President. Nevertheless, Stalin criticized the process, stating that these proposals have proceeded without engaging the public for their input.

Questions linger regarding the government's stance on these reforms. Despite discussions between the Minister of Education and the Deputy Minister regarding transformative changes in education, stakeholders have been kept in the dark.
