පාරිභෝගික ජනතාවට සහන සැලසීමේ අරමුණින් ලංකා සතොස ආයතනය මගින් අත්යවශ්ය පාරිභෝගික භාණ්ඩ 11ක මිල ගණන් ජූලි 24 සිට ක්රියාත්මක වන පරිදි පහත හෙළීමට තීරණය කර තිබේ.
වෙළෙඳ, වාණිජ, ආහාර සුරක්ෂිතතා සහ සමුපකාර සංවර්ධන අමාත්යාංශයේ උපදෙස් පරිදි මෙම මිල සංශෝධනය සිදු කර ඇති බව එම අමාත්යාංශය සහ ලංකා සතොස ආයතනය නිල වශයෙන් නිවේදනය කරයි.
මෙම මිල අඩු කිරීම් යටතේ වැඩිම සහනයක් ලබා දී ඇත්තේ රතුළුණු සඳහා වන අතර, එහි කිලෝග්රෑමයක මිල රුපියල් 71කින් පහත දමා ඇත.
මීට අමතරව පරිප්පු, සහල්, සීනි සහ ටින් මාළු ඇතුළු දෛනික පරිභෝජනයට අත්යවශ්ය භාණ්ඩ රැසක මිල ගණන් මෙලෙස අඩු කර තිබේ.

In a significant move to alleviate the financial burden on consumers, Lanka Sathosa has revealed a new pricing structure for 11 essential consumer goods, set to take effect from July 24. This initiative aims to assist the public during these challenging economic times.
The Ministry of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Consumer Development officially announced this price adjustment, implemented under its directives in collaboration with Lanka Sathosa. The measures are designed to enhance affordability for staple items.
Among the most noteworthy reductions are those for red lentils, which have seen a price drop to Rs. 71 per kilogram, offering the highest level of relief to consumers. Other daily necessities, including gram, rice, sugar, and canned fish, have also experienced reduced prices as part of the overhaul.
