කැරපොත්තන්ට ලොකු ජයක්.. ඉන්දීය අධ්‍යාපන ඇමති ඉල්ලා අස්වේ..

සති කිහිපයක් පුරා ඉන්දියාව පුරා පැතිර ගිය දැවැන්ත තරුණ විරෝධතා හමුවේ ඉන්දීය අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍ය ධර්මේන්ද්‍ර ප්‍රධාන් මහතා  සිය ධුරයෙන් ඉල්ලා අස්විය.

ඉන්දීය අධ්‍යාපන පද්ධතියේ පවතින දූෂණ සහ තරඟ විභාගවල ප්‍රශ්න පත්‍ර පිටවීමේ සිද්ධීන්ට එරෙහිව ක්‍රියාත්මක වූ 'කැරපොතු' (Cockroach) ව්‍යාපාරයට මෙය සුවිශේෂී ජයග්‍රහණයක් ලෙස සැලකේ.

අමාත්‍යවරයා සිය ඉල්ලා අස්වීමේ තීරණය 'X' පණිවුඩයක් මගින් ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කළේය. මෙය මෑත කාලයේදී අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය නරේන්ද්‍ර මෝදිගේ රජය මහජන විරෝධයක් හමුවේ සිදුකළ ප්‍රධානතම පසුබැසීම ලෙස දේශපාලන විචාරකයෝ පෙන්වා දෙති.

ප්‍රධාන පෙළේ තරඟ විභාග කිහිපයක ප්‍රශ්න පත්‍ර පිටවීමේ චෝදනා මුල් කරගනිමින් මීට මාසයකට පෙර ඇරඹි මෙම අරගලය, පසුව විරැකියාව, රජයේ වගවීම සහ ආර්ථික අවස්ථා පිළිබඳ පුළුල් මහජන නැගිටීමක් දක්වා වර්ධනය විය. සිසුන්, වෘත්තිකයන් සහ ක්‍රියාකාරීන් දහස් ගණනින් නව දිල්ලියේ වීදි බැස විරෝධතාවල නිරත වූ අතර, පොලිස් මර්දනයන් හමුවේ වුවද ඔවුන් සිය අරගලය අත්හැරියේ නැත.

අමාත්‍යවරයාගේ ඉල්ලා අස්වීමේ පුවත සැලවීමත් සමඟ නව දිල්ලියේ විරෝධතා භූමියේ රැඳී සිටි දහස් සංඛ්‍යාත පිරිස ජයග්‍රහණය සමරන්නට වූහ. ඉන්දීය ජාතික ධජය ලෙළවමින් ඔවුන් එකිනෙකා වැළඳ ගනිමින් සතුට පළ කළහ. 

මෙම අරගලය මෙහෙයවූ 'කැරපොතු ජනතා පක්ෂය'  සිය 'X' ගිණුම හරහා "ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදය ජයග්‍රහණය කළා!" යනුවෙන් සටහනක් තබා තිබුණි. අමාත්‍යවරයාගේ ඉල්ලා අස්වීම සිය ප්‍රධාන ඉල්ලීමක් වුවද, අරගලය මෙතැනින් අවසන් නොවන බව එහි නායකයෝ පවසති.

ප්‍රශ්න පත්‍ර පිටවීම නිසා සිත් තැවුලට පත්ව සියදිවි හානිකරගත් සිසුන්ගේ පවුල්වලට වන්දි ලබා දීම සහ විරෝධතාකරුවන්ට අමානුෂික ලෙස පහර දුන් පොලිස් නිලධාරීන්ට එරෙහිව පියවර ගැනීම ඔවුන්ගේ මීළඟ ඉල්ලීම් වේ.

Indian Education Minister Resigns Amidst Massive Student Protests

In a significant political development, India’s Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has stepped down after weeks of widespread protests across the country led by students. This resignation comes in the wake of escalating concerns over corruption in the Indian education system, particularly related to leaks of competitive examination question papers.

The protests, organized under the 'Cockroach' campaign, aimed at combating the issues of corruption and academic malpractice have been viewed as a notable victory for the demonstrators. By announcing his resignation via an 'X' message, Pradhan's exit marks what political analysts describe as one of the major retreats by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government amidst public dissent.

These protests, which began over a month ago following allegations of question paper leaks in several high-stakes examinations, took on a larger dimension, evolving into a broad-based public movement concerned with government accountability and economic opportunities. Thousands of students, professionals, and activists flocked to the streets of New Delhi, steadfast in their cause despite facing police brutality.

As the news of the minister's resignation spread, many protesters gathered in New Delhi to celebrate this achievement, waving the Indian national flag and embracing one another in joy.

The movement, spearheaded by the 'Cockroach People's Party,' updated their 'X' account to declare, “Democracy has triumphed!” Although the resignation was one of their primary demands, leaders of the movement have indicated this is far from the end of their struggle.

Looking ahead, the protesters are calling for compensation for families of students who took their own lives due to the stress caused by the question paper leaks, as well as accountability for police officers who have been accused of using excessive force against demonstrators.
