මගී ප‍්‍රවාහන ඩ්‍රෝන යානා ලංකාවට.. කොළඹ අහසේ වැඩ අරඹයි..

 ශ්‍රී ලංකාව තුළ මගී ප්‍රවාහන ඩ්‍රෝන යානා සේවාවක් ආරම්භ කිරීමට පියවර ගනිමි්න් ඇතැයි සිවිල් ගුවන් සේවා අධිකාරිය පවසයි.

නවීන තාක්ෂණය උපයෝගී කරගනිමින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කෙරෙන මෙම සේවාව මුල් අදියරේදී නියමු ව්‍යාපෘතියක් (Pilot Project) ලෙස ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමට සැලසුම් කර ඇති බව එම අධිකාරිය සඳහන් කරයි.

මේ පිළිබඳව අදහස් දක්වමින් ශ්‍රී ලංකා සිවිල් ගුවන් සේවා අධිකාරියේ අධ්‍යක්ෂ ජනරාල් දමින්ද රඹුක්වැල්ල මහතා ප්‍රකාශ කළේ, මෙම එක් ඩ්‍රෝන යානයක් මගින් මගීන් හය දෙනෙකුට (06) එකවර ගමන් කිරීමේ පහසුකම් පවතින බවයි.

චීනය, සිංගප්පූරුව සහ තායිලන්තය වැනි රටවල මේ වන විටත් මෙවැනි මගී ප්‍රවාහන ඩ්‍රෝන ව්‍යාපෘති සාර්ථකව ක්‍රියාත්මක වෙමින් පවතින අතර, එම ජාත්‍යන්තර අත්දැකීම් ද සැලකිල්ලට ගනිමින් මෙරට ගුවන් ගමන් ක්ෂේත්‍රයට මෙම නවමු අත්දැකීම හඳුන්වා දීමට නියමිතය.

Sri Lanka to Launch Passenger Drone Transportation Service

The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka has announced plans to initiate a passenger drone transportation service within the country. This service will leverage modern technology and is set to be implemented as a pilot project in its initial phase.

Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority, Damintha Rambukwella, emphasized that the drone service will have the capacity to transport up to six passengers at once, thereby enhancing travel convenience.

Countries like China, Singapore, and Thailand are already successfully operating similar passenger drone projects. Drawing on these international experiences, Sri Lanka aims to introduce this innovative aviation concept to its own air travel sector.
