ලේ බේරෙන ප‍්‍රාඩෝවක් පාදුක්කෙන් හමුවේ..

 කොළඹ වරාය නගරයේදී චීන ජාතිකයෙකු පැහැරගෙන ගොස් ඝාතනය කිරීමේ සිද්ධියට සම්බන්ධ සැකකරුවන් පැමිණි බවට සැක කෙරෙන සුඛෝපභෝගී ජීප් රථය, පාදුක්ක ප්‍රදේශයේ අතහැර දමා තිබියදී පොලිසිය විසින් සොයාගෙන තිබේ.

පාදුක්ක, පහළ බෝපේ හන්දිය අසල නවතා තිබූ මෙම රථය සොයාගන්නා අවස්ථාවේදීත් එහි එන්ජිම පණගන්වා පසුපස ගියරය යොදා තිබූ බව පොලිසිය පවසයි. 

රථය අභ්‍යන්තරයේ ලේ පැල්ලම් කිහිපයක් දක්නට ලැබෙන අතර, ඒ සම්බන්ධයෙන් විද්‍යාත්මක හා ඇඟිලි සලකුණු පරීක්ෂණ මේ වන විටත් ආරම්භ කර ඇත.

මූලික විමර්ශනවලදී අනාවරණය වී ඇත්තේ අදාළ ජීප් රථයෙන් පැමිණි චීන ජාතිකයින් තිදෙනෙකු පසුව ත්‍රීරෝද රථයකින් කොල්ලුපිටිය දෙසට පළා ගොස් ඇති බවයි. එම පිරිස අතරින් දෙදෙනෙකු මෙරටින් පළා යාමට උත්සාහ කිරීමේදී කටුනායක ගුවන් තොටුපොළ ආසන්නයේදී පොලිස් අත්අඩංගුවට පත්ව තිබේ. 

සැකකරුවන් කොල්ලුපිටිය දක්වා ප්‍රවාහනය කළ ත්‍රීරෝද රථයේ රියදුරු ද අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන ඇති අතර, කොල්ලුපිටිය පොලිසිය ඔහුගෙන් වැඩිදුර ප්‍රශ්න කිරීම් සිදු කරයි.

මෙම ගැටුමෙන් පසු පැහැරගැනීමට ලක්වූ චීන ජාතිකයාගේ මෘත දේහය ඇහැලියගොඩ, කරඳන ප්‍රදේශයේ කැලෑබද ස්ථානයක සඟවා තිබියදී සොයාගනු ලැබීය.

Police Investigate Murder of Chinese National Following Discovery of Abandoned Vehicle

The police have recovered a luxury jeep linked to the murder of a Chinese national, which was reportedly abandoned in the Padukka area. This vehicle is believed to be connected to suspects involved in the crime that took place in the Colombo Port City.

According to police reports, the jeep was found parked near the lower Bopitiya junction, with the engine still running, indicating a hasty departure. Inside the vehicle, several blood stains were discovered, prompting immediate scientific and fingerprint analyses.

Initial investigations revealed that three individuals, believed to be Chinese nationals, fled from the jeep and traveled towards Kollupitiya on a three-wheeler. Two of them were apprehended by police while attempting to escape the country at Katunayake International Airport.

Authorities have also taken the driver of the three-wheeler into custody and are conducting further questioning in Kollupitiya.

The body of the kidnapped Chinese national was later found concealed in a wooded area in Eheliyagoda, Karandana, indicating the severity of the incident.

A comprehensive investigation is currently underway, with collaboration between the coastal police and Kollupitiya police to uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
