කඩවත නගර මධ්‍යයේ බීමත්ව අශෝභන අයුරින් හැසිරුණු බව කියන පොලිස් කොස්තාපල්වරයෙකු කඩවත පොලිසිය විසින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන තිබේ.

අත්අඩංගුවට පත් මෙම නිලධාරියා අලුත්ගම පොලිස් ස්ථානයට අනුයුක්තව සේවය කරන්නෙකු බවත්, ඔහු පසුගිය මාස පහක පමණ කාලයක සිට සේවයට වාර්තා කර නොමැති බවත් විමර්ශනවලදී අනාවරණය වී ඇත.

කෙසේ වෙතත්, ඔහු සේවය අතහැර ගිය අයෙකු ලෙස මෙතෙක් නිල වශයෙන් නම් කර නොමැති බව පොලිස් ආරංචි මාර්ග සඳහන් කරයි.

සැකකාර නිලධාරියා අත්අඩංගුවට ගන්නා අවස්ථාවේදී බීමත්ව සිටියේද යන්න තහවුරු කර ගැනීම සඳහා රාගම රෝහල වෙත ඇතුළත් කර ඇති අතර, ඔහු මේ වන විට පොලිස් ආරක්ෂාව යටතේ එහි සිටියි.

කඩවත පොලිස් කණ්ඩායමක් මේ පිළිබඳ වැඩිදුර පරීක්ෂණ මෙහෙයවනු ලබයි.

Police Officer Arrested for Disorderly Conduct in Kadawatha

A police constable has been taken into custody by the Kadawatha Police for reportedly behaving in an unruly manner while under the influence of alcohol in the center of Kadawatha.

This officer, who is attached to the Aluthgama Police Station, has not reported for duty for approximately five months, as revealed during investigations.

However, sources indicate that he has not been formally identified as a police officer who abandoned his post.

To ascertain whether he was indeed intoxicated at the time of his arrest, he has been admitted to Ragama Hospital, where he is currently under police protection.

The Kadawatha Police are conducting further inquiries into the matter.
