තිරිඟු පිටි මිල ඉහළ යාමට සාපේක්ෂව රොටි, පරාටා සහ කෙටි ආහාර ඇතුළු පිටි ආශ්රිත ආහාර වර්ගවල මිල ගණන් රුපියල් 5කින් ඉහළ දැමීමට සමස්ත ලංකා ආපනශාලා හිමියන්ගේ සංගමය තීරණය කර තිබේ.
මෙම නව මිල සංශෝධනය අද (29) මධ්යම රාත්රියේ සිට ක්රියාත්මක වන බව එම සංගමය නිල වශයෙන් නිවේදනය කළේය.
අද උදෑසන සිට ක්රියාත්මක වන පරිදි තිරිඟු පිටි කිලෝග්රෑමයක මිල රුපියල් 17කින් ඉහළ දැමීමට ප්රධාන පිටි සමාගම් පියවර ගැනීමත් සමඟ, සිය නිෂ්පාදන පිරිවැය ඉහළ යාම හේතුවෙන් මෙම තීරණය ගැනීමට සිදු වූ බව ආපනශාලා හිමියෝ පෙන්වා දෙති.
ඒ අනුව, අද මධ්යම රාත්රියෙන් පසු පාරිභෝගිකයන්ට රොටි, පරාටා සහ විවිධ කෙටි ආහාර වර්ග මිලදී ගැනීමේදී මෙම අතිරේක පිරිවැය දැරීමට සිදු වනු ඇත.
Restaurant Association Announces Price Hike for Flour-Based Foods
The Sri Lankan Restaurant Owners' Association has decided to increase the prices of flour-based food items, including rotis, parathas, and other short eats, by Rs. 5, in response to rising flour prices.
This price adjustment will take effect from midnight today (29), as officially communicated by the association.
Beginning this morning, major flour companies have raised the price of a kilogram of flour by Rs. 17, prompting restaurant owners to address their rising production costs. This increase was deemed necessary to maintain viability amid the escalating expenses.
Consequently, customers will need to accommodate this additional cost when purchasing rotis, parathas, and various short eat items after midnight today.
*Note: In case of any discrepancy between the Sinhala and English versions, the Sinhala version shall prevail.
