 යාපනය, නෙල්ලිඅඩි ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචි විශ්‍රාමික රජයේ නිලධාරියෙකුගේ නිවසට බීමත්ව අනවසරයෙන් ඇතුළු වී, එහි දේපළවලට හානි කර මරණ තර්ජනය කළ බව කියන ජාතික ජන බලවේගයේ (NPP) ප්‍රාදේශීය සභා මන්ත්‍රීවරයෙකු සහ ඔහුගේ මිතුරන් පිරිසක් නෙල්ලිඅඩි පොලිසිය විසින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන ඇතැයි ඩේලි මිරර් වාර්තා කරයි.

මෙසේ අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන ඇත්තේ වඩමාරච්චි නිරිතදිග ප්‍රාදේශීය සභාව නියෝජනය කරන ගනේෂරූපන් නමැති මන්ත්‍රීවරයා සහ ඔහුගේ මිතුරන් පිරිසකි.

මධ්‍යම රාත්‍රියේ මොවුන් බීමත්ව නෙල්ලිඅඩි නගරයේ පිහිටි අදාළ නිවසට කඩා වැදී ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ.

සැකකරුවන් විසින් නිවසේ සවිකර තිබූ ආරක්ෂක කැමරා පද්ධතියට (CCTV) හානි කර ඇති අතර, නිවසට බලහත්කාරයෙන් ඇතුළු වී එහි සිටි පිරිසට මරණ තර්ජනය කර ඇති බවටද චෝදනා එල්ල වී ඇත.

සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් නිවෙස් හිමියා විසින් 119 හදිසි ඇමතුම් අංකය ඔස්සේ කළ පැමිණිල්ලකට අනුව වහාම ක්‍රියාත්මක වූ නෙල්ලිඅඩි පොලිසිය, අදාළ මන්ත්‍රීවරයා ඇතුළු සැකකරුවන් පිරිස අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන තිබේ.

සැකකරුවන් අධිකරණය වෙත ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමට නියමිත අතර නෙල්ලිඅඩි පොලිසිය සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන සිදු කරයි.

Former Government Official's Home Under Attack by NPP Councillor and Associates in Nelliyadi

A disturbing incident unfolded in Nelliyadi, where a retired government official faced threats to life after a group including a local councillor from the National People's Power (NPP) allegedly broke into his home while under the influence of alcohol. Reports indicate that this group not only invaded the property but also damaged belongings and made threatening remarks.

The councillor, identified as Ganesha Rupun, represents the Wadamarachchi South Pradeshiya Sabha. Eyewitnesses reported that he and his friends forced their way into the residence during the early hours of the morning.

During the incident, the assailants reportedly vandalized the house’s security camera system (CCTV) and directed death threats towards those inside the home.

The swift response from the Nelliyadi Police came after the homeowner made an emergency call to 119, seeking immediate assistance. Law enforcement quickly apprehended the group, which included the councillor.

The suspects are expected to be presented in court, while the Nelliyadi Police continue their investigation into the matter.
