ජපානයේදී ලාංකික සිසුන් දෙදෙනෙකු මරාගනිති.. අයෙක් මරුට.. අයෙක් අත්අඩංගුවට..

 ජපානයේ උසස් අධ්‍යාපනය ලබමින් සිටි 21 හැවිරිදි ශ්‍රී ලාංකික සිසුවෙකු පිහි පහරින් ඝාතනය කිරීමේ පුවතක් ජපාන මාධ්‍ය වාර්තා කරයි. 

මෙම ඝාතනය සම්බන්ධයෙන් තවත් ලාංකික සිසුවෙකු එරට පොලිසිය විසින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන තිබේ.

මෙසේ අවාසනාවන්ත ලෙස ඝාතනයට ලක්ව ඇත්තේ කුලියාපිටිය, මාදම්පිටිය ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචිව සිටි තරුණයෙකි. ඝාතනය සම්බන්ධයෙන් සැකපිට අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන ඇත්තේ ගාල්ල ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචි ලාංකික සිසුවෙකි.

මෙම සිසුන් දෙදෙනාම ජපානයේ පෞද්ගලික විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක අධ්‍යාපනය ලබමින් සිට ඇති අතර, ඔවුන් නගනෝමා (Nagano) ප්‍රාන්තයේ, ශියෝජිරි (Shiojiri) ප්‍රදේශයේ පිහිටි නිවසක එකට පදිංචිව සිට ඇත. 

පසුගිය 11 වැනිදා කිසියම් කරුණක් මුල් කරගනිමින් මෙම සිසුන් දෙදෙනා අතර ඇති වූ බහින්බස් වීමක් දුරදිග යාමෙන් පසු, සැකකාර සිසුවා විසින් සුපුන් ඉසුරුගේ පපුව ප්‍රදේශයට පිහියකින් ඇන ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ.

පිහි පහරින් බරපතළ තුවාල ලැබූ සිසුවා වහාම රෝහල්ගත කර ඇති නමුත්, වෛද්‍යවරුන් පරීක්ෂා කරන විටත් ඔහු මියගොස් සිටි බව එරට පොලිසිය තහවුරු කර ඇත. ඝාතනය සඳහා යොදාගත් පිහිය ද පොලිස් භාරයට ගෙන තිබේ.

මියගිය සුපුන් ඉසුරු 2025 වසරේ ජනවාරි මාසයේදී උසස් අධ්‍යාපනය සඳහා ජපානය බලා ගොස් ඇත. ඔහු කුලියාපිටිය කනදල්ල මහා විද්‍යාලයෙන් මූලික අධ්‍යාපනය ලබා පසුව කුලියාපිටිය සාරානාත් ජාතික පාසලෙන් උසස් පෙළ හදාරා තිබේ. 

ජපන් භාෂාව පිළිබඳ පාඨමාලාවක් මෙරටදී සාර්ථකව නිම කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව ඔහු වැඩිදුර අධ්‍යාපනය සඳහා ජපානයට ගොස් ඇති අතර, එහිදී අධ්‍යාපන කටයුතුවලට අමතරව අර්ධකාලීන රැකියාවක ද නිරතව සිට ඇත.

මෙම සිද්ධියට සම්බන්ධ සැකකාර සිසුවාගේ පෙම්වතිය ද ඔවුන් සමඟ එකම පාසලේ අධ්‍යාපනය ලබන බවත්, ඇය ද එම අවස්ථාවේ එහි සිට ඇති බවත් වැඩිදුරටත් අනාවරණය වේ. සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් ජපාන පොලිසිය වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන පවත්වයි.

Tragic Death of Sri Lankan Student in Japan Under Investigation

Reports from Japanese media have confirmed the stabbing murder of a 21-year-old Sri Lankan student pursuing higher education in Japan. This tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the Sri Lankan community abroad.

Authorities have arrested another Sri Lankan student in connection with the crime. The victim, identified as Supun Isuru, was originally from the Kuliapitiya, Madampitiya area. The suspect, also a Sri Lankan, resides in the Galle district.

Both students were enrolled at a private university in Japan and lived together in a residence located in the Nagano Prefecture's Shiojiri area. Their disagreement reportedly escalated on the 11th of this month, leading to a violent confrontation that culminated in the fatal stabbing.

According to police reports, the suspect attacked Supun Isuru with a knife, causing critical injuries. Despite being rushed to the hospital, medical staff confirmed that he had succumbed to his injuries upon arrival. The weapon used in the assault has been seized by the police.

Supun Isuru had moved to Japan in January 2025 for his higher education. He completed his foundational studies at Kuliapitiya Kanadella Maha Vidyalaya before earning his A-levels from Kuliapitiya Saranath National School.

After successfully completing a Japanese language course in Sri Lanka, he traveled to Japan for further education, where he also worked part-time while studying.

Further investigations have revealed that the suspect's girlfriend is a fellow student at the same institution, and she was present at the scene during the incident. The Japanese police continue to gather evidence and conduct a thorough investigation into this shocking case.
