කෙසේ වෙතත් කරුණානායක මහතා එහි පැමිණ නොසිටීම මත ඔහුගේ නිවසට අල්ලස් කොමිසමේ නිලධාරීන් කණ්ඩායමක් ගොස් තිබේ.

මන්ත‍්‍රීවරයා කැදවා තිබුනේ ජාතික ලොතරැයි මණ්ඩලයට නිලධාරීන් පස්දෙනෙකු බඳවාගෙන, ඔවුන් සිය පෞද්ගලික කටයුතු සඳහා යොදවා ගත් බවට එල්ල වී ඇති චෝදනාවක් සම්බන්ධයෙන් ප්‍රකාශයක් ලබා දීම සඳහාය.

අදාළ නිලධාරීන් පස්දෙනා රජයේ වැටුප් ලබමින් සිටියදී, ඔවුන්ගේ සේවය අමාත්‍යවරයාගේ පෞද්ගලික අවශ්‍යතා වෙනුවෙන් යොදා ගැනීම හරහා රජයේ සම්පත් අවභාවිත කර ඇති බවට මෙම විමර්ශනය ක්‍රියාත්මක වේ.

ඒ අනුව, මෙම සිද්ධියට අදාළව වැඩිදුර කරුණු විමසීම සඳහා අද දිනයේ අල්ලස් කොමිසම හමුවේ පෙනී සිට ප්‍රකාශයක් ලබා දෙන ලෙස හිටපු අමාත්‍යවරයාට නියම කර ඇත.

Former Minister Ravi Karunanayake has been formally summoned to appear before the Bribery Commission today, September 29, regarding allegations of corruption and misconduct.

The inquiry focuses on accusations involving five officials from the National Lotteries Board, who are alleged to have utilized their positions for personal business activities.

While receiving government salaries, these officials are suspected of misappropriating state resources to serve the minister’s private needs, prompting the ongoing investigation into the matter.

In light of these serious allegations, the former minister has been instructed to provide a statement at the Bribery Commission today to shed further light on the events in question.
