29 හැවිරිදි කාන්තාවකට උසුළු විසුළු කිරීමේ සිද්ධියක් මත බුලත්සිංහල අතුර කළුමලේ වත්ත ප්‍රදේශයේ තරුණයන් දෙදෙනකුට ගිනි තැබීමෙන් එම තරුණයන් දෙදෙනා බරපතළ තුවාල ලබා කොළඹ ජාතික රෝහල වෙත ඇතුළත් කර තිබේ.

මෙලෙස තුවාල ලබා ඇතතේ බුලත්සිංහල පහළවෙල්ගම පදිංචි තරුණයන් දෙදෙනකු බව බුලත්සිංහල පොලිසිය පවසයි.

මෙම අපරාධයට සම්බන්ධ 29 හැවිරිදි අඹුසැමි යුවළක් හා ඔවුන්ගේ 19 හැවිරිදි සහෝදරයකු බුලත්සිංහල පොලිසිය මගින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන තිබේ.

අත්අඩංගුවට ගත් කාන්තාව ඇඟලුම් කර්මාන්ත ශාලාවක සේවය කර පෙරේදා (10) රාත්‍රි බස්රථයෙන් බැස සැමියා සමග නිවසට යන අවස්ථාවේදී සැකකාර තරුණයන් දෙදෙනා උසුළු විසුළු කර ඇති අතර ඊට උරණ වූ සැමියා ඔවුන්ට බැණ වැදී ඇති බව පොලිසිය කියයි. අනතුරුව එම තරුණයන් දෙදෙනා කාන්තාවගේ නිවස අසලට ගොස් බහින්බස් විමක් ඇතිකරගෙන තිබෙන අතර එම අවස්ථාවේදී නිවැසියන් විසින් එම තරුණයන්ට ගිනි තබා ඇතැයි පැවසේ.

ගිනි තැබීමෙන් බරපතළ තුවාල ලැබූ තරුණයන් දෙදෙනා හොරණ මූලික රෝහල වෙත ඇතුළත් කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව වැඩිදුර ප්‍රතිකාර සඳහා කොළඹ ජාතික රෝහල වෙත මාරු කර යවා ඇත.

මෙම සිද්ධියත් සමග කුපිත වූ ප්‍රදේශවාසීන් කාන්තාවගේ පාර්ශ්වයේ දේපළවලටද අලාභ හානිකර ඇති බව පොලිසිය කියයි.

Two Youths Injured in Bulathsinhala Shooting Incident Following Dispute

In a disturbing turn of events, two young men have sustained serious injuries after being shot in the Bulathsinhala Athura Kalumale area. The incident occurred following a dispute related to a 29-year-old woman, who has since been apprehended along with her 19-year-old brother.

The injured youths, residents of the Bulathsinhala Pahalawelgama area, were admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo for urgent medical care.

According to Bulathsinhala Police, the woman worked in a garment factory and was attacked by the two suspects just after disembarking from a bus with her husband on the night of October 10. Reports suggest that her husband intervened during the altercation, prompting the two young men to then later approach the vicinity of the woman's house armed with weapons.

Witnesses state that residents in the area responded to the situation, leading to the suspects being fired upon in an attempt to fend off the threat.

The two men, suffering from life-threatening injuries as a result of the shooting, were initially taken to the Horana Basic Hospital before being transferred for further treatment at the National Hospital in Colombo.

In addition to the direct victims, it has been reported that the properties belonging to the woman’s supporters have also suffered damages in the fallout from this incident, according to police sources.

Following the instructions of Chief Police Inspector W.A.C.S.K. Abeyratne, a team led by Chief Inspector Nishantha Karunaratna is conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
