Police Discover Human Skull Caps in Kelaniya Temple Raid

A disturbing discovery was made in the vicinity of a temple in the Gonawala area of Kelaniya, where police uncovered two human skull caps. This shocking find has raised concerns and prompted immediate action from law enforcement.

Following the discovery, a suspect, identified as the individual responsible for overseeing the temple, was taken into custody. The raid was conducted on the night of November 11, triggered by information received by the Police Emergency Response Unit (119).

Upon searching the temple premises, the skull caps were located, leading to a series of preliminary interrogations with the detained individual. During questioning, the suspect revealed that he had purchased the skull caps from another person for purposes related to occult practices.
