 මෙරට කෘෂිකර්ම ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ ව්‍යුහාත්මක වෙනසක් සිදු කරමින්, අධ්‍යක්ෂ මණ්ඩලයක් සහ විධිමත් කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයකින් සමන්විත ‘ගොවි සමාගම්’ පිහිටුවීමට රජය තීරණය කර ඇති බව කෘෂිකර්ම, පශු සම්පත්, ඉඩම් සහ වාරිමාර්ග අමාත්‍ය කේ.ඩී. ලාල්කාන්ත මහතා පවසයි.

අමාත්‍යවරයා පෙන්වා දෙන්නේ ගොවීන්ගේ සාම්ප්‍රදායික සංවිධානාත්මක ව්‍යුහය වෙනස් කර ඔවුන් ව්‍යවසායකත්ව මට්ටමට ඔසවා තැබීම මෙහි මූලික අරමුණ බවයි. 

මෙම නව ක්‍රමවේදය යටතේ ගොවීන්ට තම ඉඩම් සමාගම වෙත ලබා දී එහි කොටස්කරුවන් වීමේ අවස්ථාව හිමි වේ. ලාභාංශ බෙදා හැරීමේදී ගොවියා සමාගමට ලබා දෙන ඉඩම් ප්‍රමාණය පදනම් කරගන්නා බව අමාත්‍යවරයා පැහැදිලි කළේය. 

ඒ අනුව, අක්කරයක ඉඩමක් ලබා දෙන ගොවියෙකුට එක් කොටසක් ද, අක්කර දහයක් ලබා දෙන ගොවියෙකුට කොටස් දහයක් ද වශයෙන් හිමිකාරීත්වය ලැබෙනු ඇත.

තනි තනිව කුඩා බිම් කොටස්වල වගා කටයුතු සිදු කරනවා වෙනුවට, විශාල යායවල් ලෙස ඒකාබද්ධ වී වෙළෙඳපොළ ඉල්ලුමට සරිලන නිෂ්පාදන විද්‍යාත්මකව සිදු කිරීමට මෙමගින් හැකියාව ලැබෙන බව අමාත්‍යවරයා සඳහන් කළේය. 

මෙම සමාගම්වල තීරණ ගැනීම අධ්‍යක්ෂ මණ්ඩලය විසින් සිදු කරන අතර, දෛනික මෙහෙයුම් කටයුතු සඳහා වැටුප් ලබන වෘත්තීය කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයක් අනුයුක්ත කිරීමට ද යෝජිතය.

මේ අතර, පවතින වී මිල සම්බන්ධයෙන් ද අමාත්‍යවරයා කරුණු පැහැදිලි කළේය. ඒ අනුව මෙවර යල කන්නයේදී ද වී මිලෙහි වෙනසක් සිදු නොවන බවත්, නාඩු වී කිලෝවක් රුපියල් 120ක්, සම්බා රුපියල් 130ක් සහ කීරි සම්බා රුපියල් 140ක් ලෙස පවතින සහතික මිල නොවෙනස්ව පවතින බවත් ඔහු තහවුරු කළේය.

නවීන කෘෂි තාක්ෂණය සහ කෘතිම බුද්ධිය භාවිතය පිළිබඳව අදහස් දක්වමින් අමාත්‍යවරයා කියා සිටියේ, ලෝකයේ පවතින දියුණු තාක්ෂණික දැනුම ප්‍රායෝගිකව ගොවිබිමට රැගෙන ඒම පිළිබඳව රජයේ අවධානය යොමුව ඇති බවයි. 

කෙසේ වෙතත්, ඒ සම්බන්ධයෙන් මෙතෙක් නිල වශයෙන් සාකච්ඡා පවත්වා නොමැති බව ද අමාත්‍ය කේ.ඩී. ලාල්කාන්ත මහතා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය.

Government Initiates Agricultural Reforms with the Establishment of Farmers' Corporations

The Sri Lankan government has announced a significant reform in the agricultural sector, marking the establishment of 'Farmers' Corporations' comprised of a board of directors and a structured workforce, according to Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land, and Irrigation, K.D. Lal Kantha.

The primary aim of this initiative is to transform the traditional organizational structure of farmers, elevating them to a more entrepreneurial level.

Under the new framework, farmers will have the opportunity to contribute their land to the corporation and become shareholders. The minister clarified that profit sharing will be based on the amount of land a farmer contributes to the corporation.

For instance, a farmer who donates one acre of land will receive one share, while a farmer who contributes ten acres will be allocated ten shares.

This approach allows for larger-scale operations instead of individual small plots, enabling scientifically produced products that meet market demand, the minister emphasized.

Decisions within these corporations will be made by the board of directors, while a paid professional staff will manage daily operations.

Additionally, the minister addressed the current rice pricing situation, assuring that there will be no change in rice prices during this season. He confirmed that the guaranteed prices remain unchanged, with Nadu rice at Rs. 120 per kilogram, Samba rice at Rs. 130, and Keeri Samba at Rs. 140.

Commenting on the use of modern agricultural technology and artificial intelligence, the minister noted that the government is focused on integrating existing advanced technological knowledge into practical agricultural practices.

However, K.D. Lal Kantha also mentioned that there have been no official discussions regarding this matter as of yet.
