එම වැඩපිළිවෙළට සමගාමීව පාසල් මට්ටමින් 'ව්‍යවසායකත්ව කව' ආරම්භ කිරීමට පියවර ගෙන ඇති බව පෙන්වා දුන් අමාත්‍යවරයා, කුරුණෑගල මලියදේව විද්‍යාලය ඇතුළු දිවයිනේ පාසල් රැසක එම කව දැනටමත් සාර්ථකව ස්ථාපිත කර ඇති බවද පැවසීය.

පාසල් අධ්‍යාපනය ලබන අතරතුරදීම ව්‍යවසායකත්වයට යොමුවෙමින් තම දෙමව්පියන්ගේ ආර්ථික බර සැහැල්ලු කිරීමට ඉදිරිපත් වන දරු දැරියන් වෙනුවෙන් අවශ්‍ය තාක්ෂණික දැනුම, අමුද්‍රව්‍ය, යන්ත්‍රසූත්‍ර මෙන්ම මූල්‍ය පහසුකම් ලබාදීමට කර්මාන්ත අමාත්‍යාංශය පූර්ණ දායකත්වය ලබාදෙන බව හෙතෙම අවධාරණය කළේය.

එමෙන්ම, විශ්වවිද්‍යාල මට්ටමින් තාක්ෂණික සහය සලසන ව්‍යවසායකත්ව ප්‍රවර්ධන මධ්‍යස්ථාන පිහිටුවා ඇති බව සඳහන් කළ අමාත්‍යවරයා, අන්තර්ජාල තාක්ෂණය සහ දේශීය ස්වාභාවික සම්පත් මනා ලෙස උපයෝගී කරගනිමින් නව නිෂ්පාදන බිහිකිරීම සඳහා අවශ්‍ය සියලු යටිතල පහසුකම් පාසල් සිසුන්ට සම්පාදනය කරන බවද කියා සිටියේය.

රට හමුවේ ඇති අපේක්ෂිත දේශපාලනික හා සමාජයීය පරිවර්තනය සැබෑ කරගැනීම සඳහා හුදෙක් භෞතික සම්පත් සංවර්ධනය පමණක් ප්‍රමාණවත් නොවන බව පෙන්වා දුන් අමාත්‍ය සුනිල් හඳුන්නෙත්ති මහතා, අධ්‍යාපනය, නවෝත්පාදනය, නවීන තාක්ෂණය, කලාව සහ කර්මාන්තකරණය යන ක්ෂේත්‍ර ඒකාබද්ධව ඉදිරියට ගමන් කළ යුතු බව වැඩිදුරටත් අවධාරණය කළේය.

New Educational Reforms to Integrate Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship into School Curriculum

The government is taking significant steps to implement new educational reforms that will incorporate financial literacy and entrepreneurship into the school curriculum, announced Minister of Industry and Entrepreneur Development, Sunil Handunnetthi.

This declaration was made during the 'Wayamba Abhiman' arts and educational exhibition held in Kurunegala, where the minister emphasized the importance of these initiatives.

Handunnetthi also highlighted the launch of the 'Entrepreneurship Club' at the school level, noting that various schools across the country, including Maliadewa College in Kurunegala, have already successfully established these clubs.

The minister stressed that the Industry Ministry is committed to providing necessary technical knowledge, raw materials, machinery, and financial facilities to support students seeking to alleviate their parents' economic burdens through entrepreneurship during their school education.

He pointed out that technical support centers promoting entrepreneurship have been established at the university level, and ensured that all essential infrastructure will be provided to students to foster new product development by effectively utilizing internet technology and local natural resources.

Handunnetthi further emphasized that merely developing physical resources is insufficient to achieve the desired political and social transformation in the country, urging a holistic approach that integrates education, innovation, modern technology, arts, and industrialization to pave the way forward.
