 වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුව කෙරෙහි ජනතාව කලකිරී ඇති බවටත්, ආණ්ඩුව කඩිනමින් බිඳවැටෙනු ඇති බවටත් විපක්ෂය ගෙනියන්නේ පදනම් විරහිත අසත්‍ය ප්‍රචාරයක් බව නිවාස, ඉදිකිරීම් සහ සංස්කෘතික කටයුතු අමාත්‍ය සුසිල් රණසිංහ මහතා පවසයි.

ජනහමුවක් අමතමින් අමාත්‍යවරයා මේ බව ප්‍රකාශ කළේය.

එහිදී වැඩිදුරටත් අදහස් දැක්වූ අමාත්‍ය සුසිල් රණසිංහ මහතා මෙසේද සඳහන් කළේය.

"මේ රටේ ආණ්ඩුවක් බිහිවෙන්න බොහෝ කාලයකට පෙර සිටම කැපකිරීම් කරලා, දහඩිය මහන්සිය හලලා ජනතා ආණ්ඩුවක් හැදුවේ මේ ගම්බිම්වල ඉන්න සාමාන්‍ය ජනතාවයි. ඒ නිසා මේ ආණ්ඩුව අයිති ජනතාවටයි. ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක සහෝදරයා පත්වෙලා ලබන 21 වැනිදාට මාස දෙකක් සපිරෙනවා. ඒ නිමිත්තෙන් ජනාධිපතිතුමා ජනතාව මුණගැසීමේ රැලි මාලාවක් ආරම්භ කළා. පසුගියදා කහටගස්දිගිලියේ පැවති ජන රැලියට ගලෙන්බිඳුනුවැව ප්‍රාදේශීය සභා බලප්‍රදේශයෙන් මෙතෙක් ඉතිහාසයේ රැස්වීමකට නොගිය තරම් විශාල ජනකායක් එක්වුණා.

නමුත් අද විපක්ෂය සමාජගත කරන්න හදන්නේ ආණ්ඩුවෙන් ජනතාව ඈත්වෙමින් සිටින බවත්, ජනතාවට ආණ්ඩුව එපා වෙලා තව නොබෝ දිනකින් ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂට සිදුවූ දේ මේ ආණ්ඩුවටත් අත්වන බවත්ය. එහෙත් පොළොවේ පයගහලා ජීවත්වෙන ගම්වලට ඇවිත් බැලුවාම පැහැදිලි වෙනවා මේ ආණ්ඩුව රකින්නෙත්, නියෝජනය කරන්නෙත්, ආණ්ඩුවේ සැබෑ කොටස්කරුවන් වෙලා ඉන්නෙත් මේ රටේ පොදු ජනතාව බව.

ඉතිහාසයේ පළමු වතාවට තමයි සාමාන්‍ය ජනතාවගේ ආණ්ඩුවක් මේ රටේ නිර්මාණය වෙලා තියෙන්නේ. පසුගිය කාලයේ රජවරු වගේ වැජඹෙමින් රට පාලනය කළ මැති ඇමැතිවරු, ජනාධිපතිවරු සහ ඔවුන්ගේ පවුල්වල සාමාජිකයන් අද එකිනෙකා අපරාධ පරීක්ෂණ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව හමුවට යමින් සිටින අයුරු ජනතාවට දැකගත හැකියි."

Minister Susil Preemptively Refutes Opposition Claims of Government Instability

Minister of Housing, Construction, and Cultural Affairs, Susil Premajayantha, has dismissed opposition allegations suggesting that the current government is on the brink of collapse, labeling these claims as baseless propaganda intended to sow confusion among the populace.

Speaking at a public gathering, the minister emphasized that the foundations of governance in Sri Lanka have long been shaped by the struggles and sacrifices of ordinary citizens. He stated, "It is the common people who have labored and suffered to create a government that represents the people's interests." The minister pointed out that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has reached the two-month milestone since taking office, highlighting this moment with a series of public engagement events.

Reflecting on a significant rally held in the Kahathgaskadigala area, he noted an unprecedented turnout, with people rallying together in numbers historically unmatched for such events in the region.

Despite this, opposition forces continue to spread narratives about the government losing public support and facing a fate similar to that of former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Minister Premajayantha countered these claims by stating that a visit to the grassroots reveals unwavering support for the government, with the true stakeholders being the ordinary citizens of the country.

He further asserted that this period marks the first time in history that a government has been established by the people for the people. Minister Premajayantha also pointed out that former ministers and presidents, once perceived as distant figures ruling with authority akin to monarchs, are now facing the consequences of their actions as they find themselves under investigation.
