දෙහිවලදී ඉලක්කය වැරදී බෝම්බ ප්‍රහාරයෙන් දරුවන් දෙදෙනකු ඝාතනය වූ සිද්ධියේ බෝම්බකරු අදාල කොන්ත්‍රාත්තුව ලබාගෙන ඇත්තේ රුපියල් එක්ලක්ෂ විසිදහසකට බව පොලිස් විමර්ශනවලදී අනාවරණ වී ඇත.

මේ අතර සැකකරුට ප්‍රහාරය සඳහා අදාළ දරුවන් පදිංචි නිවස පෙන්වූ පුද්ගලයාද අත්අඩංගුවට ගත් බව පොලිසිය සඳහන් කළේය.

අනතුරුව සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් පොලිස්පතිවරයාගේ උපදෙස් මත බස්නාහිර පළාත භාර ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ නියෝජ්‍ය පොලිස්පති සජීව මැදවත්තගේ අධීක්ෂණයෙන් පොලිස් කණ්ඩායම් කිහිපයක් විමර්ශන ආරම්භ කළේය.

එවන් පසුබිමක බෝම්බ ප්‍රහාරය එල්ල කළ පුද්ගලයා අත්අඩංගුවට ගත් අතර ඔහු වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන සඳහා බස්නාහිර පළාත දකුණ දිසා අපරාධ කොට්ඨාසයට ඊයේ (17 වැනිදා) රැගෙන එන ලදී.

සැකකරුගෙන් කළ ප්‍රශ්න කිරීම්වලදී අනාවරණ වී ඇත්තේ, ඔහු 2025 වසරේ නැදිමාල ප්‍රදේශයේ සිදුකළ වෙඩි තැබීමකට අදාළව රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගතව සිට ඉකුත් ජූලි මස 19 වැනිදා ඇපමත නිදහස්ව පැමිණි බවය.

පසුව ඔහු ඉකුත් අගෝස්තු පළමුවැනිදා රත්මලානේදී කුඩු අංජුගේ සමීපතමයෙක් වෙඩිතබා ඝාතනය කර ඇතැයි ද හෙළිවී තිබේ.

ඒ සඳහා බෝධියාවත්තේ අවිශ්ක හා කොස්මල්ලි විසින් ඔහුට රුපියල් ලක්ෂ 5ක මුදලක් හා අයිස් මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය ග්‍රෑම් 10ක් ලබාදී ඇති බව විමර්ශනවලදී හෙළිවී ඇත. අනතුරුව සැප්තැම්බර් 11 වැනිදා දෙහිවල නිවසට බෝම්බ ප්‍රහාරය එල්ල කරන ලෙසට ඔවුන් දෙදෙනා විසින් ඔහුට උපදෙස් ලබාදී තිබේ.

ඒ අනුව ප්‍රහාරය එල්ලකිරීමට පෙර තමන් ඒ සඳහා ගිය ත්‍රිරෝද රථයේ තවත් පුද්ගලයකු පැමිණි බවත් ඔහු ප්‍රහාරය එල්ල කිරීමට නි​ෙවසක් එහිදී පෙන්වූ බවත් සැකකරු පවසා ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ.

එම පුද්ගලයා තමන්ට පෙන්වූයේ වැරදි නිවසක් බවත් සැකකරු එහිදී පවසා ඇත.

අදාළ ප්‍රහාරයෙන් පසුව ඒ සඳහා තමන්ට රුපියල් එක්ලක්ෂ විසිදහසක මුදලක් අවිශ්ක හා කොස් මල්ලි ලබාදුන් බවත් අනතුරුව බිබිල ප්‍රදේශයට පලායන ලෙසට උපදෙස් ලබාදුන් බවත් සැකකරු පවසා ඇති බව වාර්තාවේ.

පසුව තමන් බිබිලේ සිය හිතවතකුගේ නිවසක සැඟවී සිටියදී අත්අඩංගුවට පත්වූ බව ඔහු පවසා ඇත. එමෙන්ම සැකකරුට ප්‍රහාරය එල්ල වූ නිවස පෙන්වූ පුද්ගලයාද බස්නාහිර දකුණ අපරාධ කොට්ඨාසය විසින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගනු ලැබීය.

ඔහුගෙන් සිදුකළ ප්‍රශ්න කිරීම්වලදී අනාවරණ වී ඇත්තේ, ඒ සඳහා අවිශ්ක හා කොස්මල්ලි විසින් රුපියල් විසිදහසක මුදලක් ලබාදුන් බවය.

සිද්ධිය පිළිබඳ වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන බස්නාහිර දකුණ භාර නියෝජ්‍ය පොලිස්පති සාමන්ත විජේසේකරගේ අධීක්ෂණයෙන් බස්නාහිර දකුණ අපරාධ කොට්ඨාසය විසින් සිදුකරයි.

Bombing Incident in Dehiwala: Arrests Made in Connection with Tragic Attack on Children

In a harrowing development, police investigations revealed that the bomber who targeted a residential area in Dehiwala, resulting in the deaths of two children, had secured the contract for the attack for a payment of Rs. 125,000.

Authorities have also apprehended an individual who allegedly pointed out the children's residence to the suspect. Following directions from the Inspector General of Police, several police teams, under the supervision of Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Sanjeewa Madhusankha, commenced thorough investigations into the incident.

The suspected bomber was detained and subsequently brought to the Southern Crime Division of the Western Province for further questioning on October 17. During interrogations, it was disclosed that he had recently been released on bail after serving time related to a shooting incident that took place in the Nadiyamala area in 2025. The suspect had been granted bail on July 19 this year.

Furthermore, he was implicated in a murder that occurred on August 1 in Rathmalana, where he allegedly killed a close associate of a known figure believed to have directly funded his activities. Investigations revealed that he received a payment of Rs. 500,000 along with 10 grams of ice drugs from individuals named Abhisheka and Kosmalli.

On September 11, the duo instructed him to carry out the bombing at the residence in Dehiwala. The suspect later recounted being shown the target location from a three-wheeler before the attack, indicating that another person had accompanied him during the operation.

He claimed that the individual had pointed him towards a wrong house, leading to the tragic outcome. After executing the bombing, he stated that he received the discussed payment and was advised to flee to the Bibila area, where he was ultimately apprehended while hiding at a friend's residence.

Significantly, the person who indicated the target residence to the suspect has also been arrested by the Southern Crime Division. During subsequent questioning, it was revealed that he had received Rs. 20,000 from Abhisheka and Kosmalli for his involvement in the attack.

Further investigations into this tragic incident are being conducted under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General of Police Samanta Wijesekara within the Southern Crime Division.
