ශිරන්ති රාජපක්ෂ මහත්මිය ඇතුළු තිදෙනෙකුගේ නමින් යුත් බද්ධ ගිණුමක් ලෙස රාජ්ය බැංකුවක සුදුවැල්ල ශාඛාවේ මෙම ගිණුම විවෘත කර තිබූ බව අනාවරණය වී ඇත.
එහිදී ශිරන්ති රාජපක්ෂ මහත්මියගේ ජාතික හැඳුනුම්පත් අංකය ලෙස ව්යාජ අංකයක් සඳහන් කර තිබූ බවට ද විමර්ශනවලදී හෙළි විය.

Former President Shiranti Rajapaksa to Provide Statement on Alleged Financial Irregularities
The Attorney General has directed the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division to record a statement from former President Arya Shiranti Rajapaksa in connection with alleged financial irregularities associated with an account operated under the name "Siriliya."
Authorities have confirmed that arrangements are being made for the police to obtain her statement regarding this matter.
The account in question, operating during Mahinda Rajapaksa's presidency, became the focus of a comprehensive investigation launched by the good governance administration amid concerns over the financial misconduct tied to it.
Revelations indicate that this account was opened at a state bank's Suduwella branch under the names of Shiranti Rajapaksa and two others.
Investigations have also unearthed that a fraudulent national identification number was used in reference to Rajapaksa's identity within this account.
Furthermore, significant suspicious financial transactions have reportedly taken place through this account, prompting the police to gather insights from Rajapaksa earlier regarding these activities.
