නාමල් හිරේ දැම්මාට අනුරාධපුර රැළිය නවත්තන්නේ නෑ..- SLPP

 ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ ජාතික සංවිධායක, පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා අල්ලස් හෝ දූෂණ විමර්ශන කොමිෂන් සභාව මගින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාර ගත කිරීම, රටේ ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදයට එල්ල වූ බරපතළ තර්ජනයක් බව එම පක්ෂය නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කරමින් අවධාරණය කරයි.

මෙම අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීම සහ ඉන් අනතුරුව මන්ත්‍රීවරයා රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාර ගත කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් සිය දැඩි පිළිකුල සහ විරෝධය පළ කරන බව ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණ පවසයි.

මෙය හුදෙක් පුද්ගලයෙකු ඉලක්ක කර ගනිමින් සිදු කළ අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීමක් නොව, සමස්ත ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදී ක්‍රියාවලියම අඩපණ කිරීමේ අරමුණින් රජය විසින් දියත් කරන ලද දේශපාලන දඩයමක් බව එම පක්ෂයේ මතය වී තිබේ.

එම නිවේදනය මගින් වැඩිදුරටත් පෙන්වා දෙන්නේ, එළඹෙන සැප්තැම්බර් 12 වන දින අනුරාධපුරයේදී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතව තිබූ දැවැන්ත ජන රැළිය සහ ඊට ලැබෙමින් පැවති ඉහළ ජනතා ප්‍රතිචාරය හමුවේ රජය දැඩි බියකට පත්ව ඇති බවයි.

තරුණ නායකත්වයක් ලෙස නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා වටා රොක් වන ජන බලවේගය සහ ඔහුගේ දේශපාලන දැක්ම යටපත් කිරීම සඳහා රජය මෙම අත්තනෝමතික පියවර ගෙන ඇති බවට එම පක්ෂය චෝදනා කරයි.

වත්මන් පාලනය සියලු අංශවලින් අසාර්ථක වී ඇති බවත්, එම අසාර්ථකත්වය වසා ගැනීම සඳහා විපක්ෂයේ හඬ මර්දනය කිරීමට ඔවුන් උත්සාහ කරන බවත් පොදුජන පෙරමුණ පවසයි.

විශේෂයෙන්ම පවතින පාලනයට එරෙහිව ගොඩනැගෙන මහජන විරෝධය හමුවේ, ජනතාවගේ ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදී අයිතීන් උදුරා ගැනීමට රජය දරන උත්සාහයක කොටසක් ලෙස මෙම අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීම හඳුන්වා දිය හැකි බව එම නිවේදනයේ සඳහන් වේ.

මෙම ක්‍රියාවලිය කිසිසේත්ම අහම්බයක් නොවන බවත්, දේශපාලන පළිගැනීම් හමුවේ තම පක්ෂය නොසැලී ඉදිරියට යන බවත් ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණ නිකුත් කළ නිවේදනයේ වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් වේ.

Rajapaksa Party Condemns Arrest of Namal Rajapaksa as Threat to Democracy

Namal Rajapaksa, the National Organizer of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna and a Member of Parliament, has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, a move the party describes as a severe threat to the country’s democracy.

In a statement, the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna expressed strong disapproval and opposition regarding the detention of Rajapaksa and his subsequent remand in custody.

The party alleges that this incident is not merely about targeting an individual but reflects a broader political campaign initiated by the government aimed at undermining the entire democratic process.

The announcement emphasized that the government is increasingly anxious about an upcoming mass rally scheduled for September 12 in Anuradhapura, amidst growing public support for the event.

According to the party, this autocratic measure is a tactic to suppress the rising momentum of the youth leadership surrounding Namal Rajapaksa and to stifle his political vision.

They further argued that the current administration has failed across all fronts and, in an attempt to contain this failure, is trying to silence the opposition.

This arrest, in the wake of widespread public dissent against the existing government, is perceived as part of the regime's efforts to strip away the democratic rights of the populace, as stated in the announcement.

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna asserts that this operation is no coincidence and confirms their commitment to moving forward regardless of political reprisals.
