රිය අනතුරකින් භික්‍ෂුන් 09ක් අපවත් වෙති.. තවත් 13කට බරපතලයි..

 

තායිලන්තයේ මුක්දහන් (Mukdahan) පළාතේදී 11 හැවිරිදි පිරිමි දරුවෙකු විසින් පදවාගෙන ආ පිකප් රථයකට යටවීමෙන් වන්දනා චාරිකාවක නිරතව සිටි බෞද්ධ භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලා 9 නමක් අපවත් වී ඇති බව විදෙස් මාධ්‍ය වාර්තා කරයි. මෙම අවාසනාවන්ත අනතුරෙන් තවත් හිමිවරුන් සහ ගිහි බැතිමතුන් පිරිසක් බරපතළ තුවාල ලබා තිබේ.

භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලා 35 නමකගෙන් සහ ගිහි බැතිමතුන් පස් දෙනෙකුගෙන් සමන්විත කණ්ඩායමක් පා ගමනින් වන්දනාවේ යෙදී සිටියදී මෙම අනතුර සිදුව ඇත.

පොලිසිය පවසන පරිදි, අනතුර සිදුවූ ස්ථානයේදීම හිමිවරුන් පස් නමක් අපවත් වී ඇති අතර, අනෙක් සිව් නම රෝහල්ගත කිරීමෙන් පසු අපවත් වී තිබේ.

අදාළ දරුවා සිය දෙමාපියන්ගේ අවසරයකින් තොරව මෙම රථය පදවාගෙන පැමිණ ඇති අතර, එහිදී රථය පාලනය කර ගැනීමට නොහැකිව භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලා අතරට කඩා වැදී ඇත. මෙම දරුවා විශේෂ අවශ්‍යතා සහිත දරුවෙකු බවට මූලික තොරතුරු අනාවරණය වී ඇති අතර, ඔහු මේ වන විට නිලධාරීන් සහ වෛද්‍යවරුන්ගේ අධීක්ෂණය යටතේ පසුවේ.

තුවාල ලැබූ තවත් හිමිවරුන් තිදෙනෙකුගේ තත්ත්වය අසාධ්‍ය බවත්, තවත් පස් නමකට බරපතළ තුවාල සිදුව ඇති බවත් සෞඛ්‍ය අංශ පවසයි. මුක්දහන් රෝහල විසින් තුවාල ලැබූ හිමිවරුන් වෙනුවෙන් හදිසි රුධිර පරිත්‍යාගයන් සිදුකරන ලෙස මහජනතාවගෙන් ඉල්ලීමක් ද කර තිබේ

Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Nine Buddhist Monks in Thailand

Reports from international media indicate that nine Buddhist monks have lost their lives after being struck by a pickup truck driven by an 11-year-old boy in the Mukdahan province of Thailand. This unfortunate accident occurred while the monks were engaged in a religious pilgrimage, causing several others, including laypeople, to sustain serious injuries.

The incident took place when a group of 35 monks and five laypeople were walking as part of their pilgrimage. According to the police, five monks died at the scene of the accident, while the other four succumbed to their injuries after being hospitalized.

It has been revealed that the child was driving the vehicle without the permission of his parents and lost control, crashing into the group of monks. Preliminary information indicates that the child has special needs and is currently under the supervision of authorities and medical personnel.

Health officials have reported that the condition of three additional injured monks is critical, while another five have sustained serious injuries. The Mukdahan hospital has made a public appeal for urgent blood donations for the injured monks.
