ගිංගඟේ පාවෙමින් තිබියදී සොයාගත් මළ සිරුර සම්බන්ධව සමාජ මාධ්‍ය ඔස්සේ ගාල්ල දිසා අපරාධ කොට්ඨාසයේ සහකාර පොලිස් අධිකාරී නාමල් පෙරේරාට හා එම කොට්ඨාසයේ නිලධාරීන් සම්බන්ධව චෝදනා කරමින් අදාළ ඝාතනය පොලිසිය විසින් සිදුකළ බව පවසමින් කටයුතු කළ විදෙස්ගතව සිටින යූ ටියුබ්කරුවන් දෙදෙනකු පිළිබඳව බද්දේගම මහෙස්ත්‍රාත් අධිකරණයට කරුණු වාර්තාකර සිටියේය.

ඒ සඳහා අවශ්‍ය තොරතුරු පිළිබඳව අපරාධ පරීක්ෂණ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව හරහා ලබාගනිමින් සිටින බව උසස් පොලිස් නිලධාරියෙක් සඳහන් කළේය.

ඉන් අනතුරුව ඔවුන් සිදුකළ චෝදනා අධිකරණයට කැඳවා විමසීමට කටයුතු කරන බවද පැවැසීය.

ඒ සම්බන්ධව තානාපති කාර්යාල හරහා අවශ්‍ය කටයුතු කරන බවද අදාළ උසස් පොලිස් නිලධාරියා පැවැසීය.

එමෙන්ම මෙම අසත්‍ය කරුණු යූ ටියුබ්කරුවන් වෙත ලබාදුන් ඇල්පිටිය පොලිස් කොට්ඨාසයට අයත් පොලිසියකට අනුයුක්තව සිටින පොලිස් පරීක්ෂකවරයකු හා ඇල්පිටිය පොලිසියේ හිටපු ප්‍රධාන පොලිස් පරීක්ෂකවරයකු පිළිබඳව ද විමර්ශන ක්‍රියාත්මක බව අදාළ නිලධාරියා වැඩිදුරටත් පැවැසීය.

Investigation Launched into Allegations Against Police Officers Following Discovery of Corpse

While investigating a body found floating in the Gin Ganga River, two expatriate YouTubers have reported allegations against Namal Perera, the Assistant Superintendent of Police for the Galle District, and officers from the division, claiming that the murder was carried out by the police. This information has been presented to the Baddegama Magistrate's Court.

A senior police officer stated that they are currently gathering necessary information through the Criminal Investigation Department.

Subsequently, the officer mentioned that they are taking steps to summon the individuals involved to court regarding the allegations they made.

Furthermore, it was clarified that necessary actions will be taken through the offices of the diplomats related to this matter.

The officer also added that investigations are underway concerning a police inspector assigned to the Alpitiy Police Division and a former chief inspector concerning the false information provided to the YouTubers.
