දෙස් විදෙස් සංචාරකයින්ගේ දැඩි ආකර්ෂණයට ලක්වූ බදුල්ල, සොරණාතොට ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාසයේ පිහිටි දුන්හිඳ දියඇල්ල පරිශ්රයේ නව නැරඹුම් මධ්යස්ථානයක් ඉදිකිරීමේ ව්යාපෘතිය ජූලි 27 නිල වශයෙන් ආරම්භ විය.
සංචාරක නියෝජ්ය අමාත්ය රුවන් රණසිංහ මහතාගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන්, දුන්හිඳ පැරණි නැරඹුම් වේදිකාව අසලදී උත්සවය පැවැත්විණි.
වසර 50 කට වඩා පැරණි, දැනට අබලන් තත්ත්වයේ පවතින නැරඹුම් වේදිකාව වෙනුවට ඉදිකෙරෙන මෙම නව මධ්යස්ථානය සඳහා රුපියල් ලක්ෂ 200 ක ප්රතිපාදන ඌව පළාත් සංචාරක අමාත්යාංශය මගින් වෙන් කර ඇත.
මෙමගින් දේශීය මෙන්ම විදේශීය සංචාරකයින් උදෙසා උසස් ප්රමිතියෙන් යුතු නැරඹුම් අත්දැකීමක් සහ අවශ්ය යටිතල පහසුකම් සැලසීමට නියමිතය.
ඌව පළාතේ සංචාරක කර්මාන්තය නැංවීම සහ නැරඹුම්කරුවන්ගේ ආරක්ෂාව තහවුරු කිරීම අරමුණු කරගනිමින් ක්රියාත්මක වන මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා සොරණාතොට ප්රාදේශීය සභාවේ සභාපති ජයලත් එදිරිමාන්න මහතා ඇතුළු දේශපාලන අධිකාරිය සහ රාජ්ය නිලධාරීන් රැසක් සහභාගී වූහ.
New Visitor Center Construction Launched in Dunhida Diyanella Area
On July 27, the project for a new visitor center in Dunhida Diyanella, located within the Badulla District Secretariat Division, officially commenced, capturing the attention of both local and international tourists.
The event was held near the old observation platform, with the participation of Ruwan Ranasinghe, the Deputy Minister of Tourism, who emphasized the importance of enhancing the tourist experience.
The new center is set to replace the dilapidated observation point that has stood for over 50 years, with an allocation of 20 million rupees provided by the Uva Provincial Tourism Ministry.
This initiative aims to offer both domestic and foreign tourists a high-quality viewing experience along with necessary infrastructural facilities.
With a focus on elevating the tourism industry in the Uva Province and ensuring the safety of visitors, the occasion was attended by several political representatives, including Jayalath Edirimanna, the Chairman of the Soranahtota Pradeshiya Sabha, as well as numerous state officials.
