 කොළඹ දිස්ත්‍රික් පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී රවී කරුණානායක මහතා අල්ලස් හෝ දූෂණ විමර්ශන කොමිෂන් සභාව හමුවට කැඳවා තිබේ.

ඒ කොමිෂන් සභාව මගින් දැනට පවත්වාගෙන යනු ලබන විමර්ශනයකට අදාළව ප්‍රකාශයක් ලබා ගැනීම සඳහායි.

ඒ අනුව, කරුණානායක මහතාට මෙම මස 17 වැනිදාත් කොමිසම හමුවේ පෙනී සිටින ලෙස ලිඛිතව දැනුම් දී ඇත.

කරුණානායක මහතා කැඳවා ඇත්තේ ජාතික ලොතරැයි මණ්ඩලයට විශේෂ ව්‍යාපෘතියක් යටතේ සේවකයන් බඳවා ගැනීමේදී සිදු වූ බව කියන දූෂණ චෝදනාවක් සම්බන්ධයෙන් ප්‍රශ්න කිරීම සඳහාය.

මෙම සිද්ධියටම අදාළව ජාතික ලොතරැයි මණ්ඩලයේ හිටපු සභාපතිනි ශ්‍යාමිලා පෙරේරා මහත්මිය ද මීට පෙර අල්ලස් කොමිසම මගින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන අධිකරණයට ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමෙන් පසු ඇප මත මුදා හැර තිබිණි.

Colombo MP Ravi Karunanayake Summoned by Anti-Corruption Commission

Ravi Karunanayake, a Parliament member representing the Colombo District, has been summoned by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption. This summons is in connection with an ongoing investigation where his statement is deemed necessary.

He has been formally notified to appear before the Commission on the 17th of this month.

The inquiry primarily concerns allegations of corruption linked to the recruitment of employees under a special project by the National Lottery Board.

Notably, this case follows the earlier detention and subsequent release on bail of Shyamila Perera, the former Chairperson of the National Lottery Board, who was also implicated and presented to court by the Anti-Corruption Commission.
