පොලිස් නිලධාරියෙකුගේ නිවසට වෙඩි වරුසාවක්...

 බෙලිඅත්ත, වලවල ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචි පොලිස් නිලධාරියෙකුගේ නිවසකට කිසියම් පිරිසක් විසින් වෙඩි ප්‍රහාරයක් එල්ල කර ඇති බව පොලිසිය පවසයි.

මෙම නිලධාරියා දික්වැල්ල පොලිස් ස්ථානයට අනුයුක්තව සේවය කරන්නෙකු බව වාර්තා වේ. 

වෙඩි තැබීම සිදුවන අවස්ථාවේදී නිලධාරියා නිවසේ සිට ඇති නමුත්, ප්‍රහාරයෙන් ඔහුට හෝ නිවසේ වෙනත් අයෙකුට කිසිදු තුවාලයක් හෝ ජීවිත හානියක් සිදුවී නොමැති බව පොලිසිය තහවුරු කළේය.

පොලිස් විමර්ශනවලට අනුව, සැකකරුවන් විසින් නිවසේ ප්‍රධාන ගේට්ටුව ඉලක්ක කර වෙඩි පහක් පමණ තබා තිබේ. 

ප්‍රහාරය එල්ල කළ පුද්ගලයින් කවුරුන්ද යන්න හෝ වෙඩි තැබීමට හේතුව මෙතෙක් අනාවරණය වී නොමැත.

සිද්ධියට සම්බන්ධ සැකකරුවන් අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීම සඳහා බෙලිඅත්ත පොලිසිය විසින් විශේෂ විමර්ශනයක් ආරම්භ කර ඇත.

Gunfire Targets Home of Police Officer in Beliatta

A police officer's residence in the Walawela area of Beliatta was reportedly attacked by a group, with gunfire directed at the property. The officer is known to be affiliated with the Dickwella Police Station.

At the time of the incident, the officer was present at his home; however, authorities confirmed that neither he nor anyone else inside sustained injuries or fatalities as a result of the attack.

Preliminary investigations by police indicated that the assailants targeted the main gate of the residence, firing approximately five shots.

As of now, the identities of those responsible for the shooting and the motives behind the attack have not been established.

In response to the incident, the Beliatta police have initiated a special inquiry to apprehend the suspects involved.
