රජයේ දෙවැනි පස් අවුරුදු පාලන කාලය අවසන් වන විට මෙරට ගොවීන් අක්කරයකින් ලබාගන්නා අස්වැන්න දෙගුණ කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය පියවර ගන්නා බව නිවාස නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය ටී.බී. සරත් මහතා පවසයි.

අමාත්‍යවරයා මේ බව ප්‍රකාශ කළේ ජනහමුවකට එක්වෙමිනි.

ගොවීන්ගේ වත්මන් ආදායම දෙගුණ කිරීම සඳහා ක්‍රමානුකූලව නවීන තාක්ෂණය කෘෂිකර්මාන්තයට හඳුන්වා දීමට රජය සැලසුම් කර ඇති බව ඔහු මෙහිදී අවධාරණය කළේය.

"අපේ මූලික අරමුණ ගොවියාගේ ආදායම ඉහළ නැංවීමයි. ඒ සඳහා දැනට පවතින අස්වැන්න දෙගුණයකින් වැඩි කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය නවීන තාක්ෂණික ක්‍රමවේදයන් අපි ඉදිරියේදී හඳුන්වා දෙනවා. රජයේ පළමු පස් අවුරුදු කාලය අවසන් කර දෙවැනි පස් අවුරුදු කාලයට එළඹෙන විට, මෙම තාක්ෂණික මැදිහත්වීම හරහා ගොවි ජනතාවගේ ආර්ථිකය ශක්තිමත් කිරීමට අපට හැකි වෙනවා," යැයි නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය.

කෘෂිකාර්මික ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ නව පුනරුදයක් ඇති කිරීම සඳහා රජය ගෙන යන මෙම වැඩපිළිවෙළ හරහා දේශීය නිෂ්පාදන ධාරිතාව ඉහළ නැංවීමට අපේක්ෂා කරන බව ද ඔහු මෙහිදී පෙන්වා දුන්නේය.

Government Aims to Double Crop Yields by End of Second Term, Says Deputy Minister

As the government's second five-year term draws to a close, Deputy Minister of Housing T.B. Sarath has announced plans to double the crop yields for farmers across the country. Speaking at a public gathering, he emphasized the urgency of implementing measures to achieve this ambitious goal.

The Deputy Minister highlighted that the government is set to systematically introduce modern technology into the agricultural sector, a critical step towards increasing farmers' current revenues.

"Our primary objective is to elevate the income of farmers. We aim to introduce advanced technological solutions needed to boost crop yields beyond the current levels," he stated. He expressed confidence that through these technological interventions, they would be able to strengthen the agricultural economy by the time the current term concludes.

Furthermore, he pointed out that the government's initiatives are designed to create a new revival in the agricultural sector, with expectations of enhancing the capacity for local production.
