 සංවිධානාත්මක අපරාධ කල්ලි නායකයෙකු වන කෙහෙල්බද්දර පද්මේ නමැත්තා ලබන මස 03 වනදා දක්වා රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගත කිරීමට කොළඹ මහේස්ත්‍රාත් අධිකරණය අද නියෝග කළේය.

අපරාධ පරීක්ෂණ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් සැකකරු අධිකරණයට ඉදිරිපත් කළ ප්‍රථම අවස්ථාව මෙය වන අතර, එහිදී ඔහු සතුව තිබී සොයාගත් ජංගම දුරකතන 08ක දත්ත විශ්ලේෂණය කිරීමෙන් අනාවරණය වූ තොරතුරු රැසක් රහස් පොලිසිය විසින් අධිකරණය හමුවේ අනාවරණය කරන ලදී.

සැකකරු විසින් මකා දමා තිබූ දත්ත යළි ලබාගැනීමේදී, දුරකතන ඇමතුම් 8,841ක්, ඡායාරූප 326,671ක්, දුරකතන පටිගත කිරීම් 1,101ක් සහ වීඩියෝ දර්ශන 5,039ක් හමුවී ඇති බව රහස් පොලිසිය අධිකරණයට දැනුම් දුන්නේය.

වඩාත් ආන්දෝලනාත්මක කරුණ වන්නේ, මෙම දත්ත අතර බන්ධනාගාර නිලධාරීන් 13 දෙනෙකුගේ දුරකතන අංක, ප්‍රසිද්ධ නිළියන් සහ නිරූපණ ශිල්පිනියන් 07 දෙනෙකුගේ තොරතුරු මෙන්ම දේශපාලනඥයන් 09 දෙනෙකුට අදාළ ඡායාරූප සහ දුරකතන සංවාද ද ඇතුළත් වීමයි.

මෙම තොරතුරු සම්බන්ධයෙන් බන්ධනාගාර කොමසාරිස් ජනරාල්වරයා දැනුවත් කිරීමට පියවර ගෙන ඇති බව ද අපරාධ පරීක්ෂණ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව වැඩිදුරටත් අධිකරණය හමුවේ ප්‍රකාශ කළේය.

ඉදිරිපත් වූ කරුණු සලකා බැලූ මහේස්ත්‍රාත්වරයා සැකකරු ලබන මස 03 වනදා දක්වා රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගත කිරීමට නියෝග කළේය.

Colombo Court Orders Custody of Organized Crime Leader Until Next Month

A Colombo magistrate has ordered the detention of a prominent organized crime leader, identified as Kehala Badde, until March 3, following a request from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

This marks the first presentation of the suspect to the court, where the CID revealed a wealth of intelligence gathered from an analysis of data extracted from eight mobile phones seized from the suspect.

In a shocking disclosure, the CID reported that data recovery efforts unearthed a staggering 8,841 telephone calls, 326,671 images, 1,101 voice recordings, and 5,039 videos linked to the suspect.

Among the most concerning findings was the inclusion of contact information for 13 prison officials, details of seven notable female figures including celebrities, as well as images and communications associated with nine politicians.

The CID further indicated that steps have been taken to inform the Commissioner General of Prisons regarding the sensitive information uncovered during their investigation.

Considering the gravity of the evidence presented, the magistrate deemed it necessary to order the suspect's continued custody until the specified date next month.
