 2026/27 මූල්‍ය වර්ෂයේ පළමු කාර්තුව තුළ හේලීස් සමූහය (Hayleys Group) රුපියල් බිලියන 10.15ක බදු පෙර ලාභයක් වාර්තා කරමින් සුවිශේෂී මූල්‍ය වර්ධනයක් අත්කරගෙන තිබේ. මෙය පසුගිය වසරේ අදාළ කාලසීමාවට සාපේක්ෂව සියයට 61ක කැපී පෙනෙන වර්ධනයකි.

2026 ජූනි 30 දිනෙන් අවසන් වූ මෙම කාර්තුව තුළ සමූහයේ ඒකාබද්ධ ආදායම රුපියල් බිලියන 179.32ක් දක්වා සියයට 38කින් ඉහළ ගොස් ඇත. බදු ගෙවීමෙන් පසු සමූහය ලැබූ ලාභය රුපියල් බිලියන 5.92ක් වන අතර එය සියයට 86ක දැවැන්ත වර්ධනයක් ලෙස සටහන් වේ.

මෙම මූල්‍ය වර්ධනය සඳහා ප්‍රවාහන හා සැපයුම් දාම කළමනාකරණ අංශය ප්‍රමුඛ දායකත්වයක් ලබා දී තිබේ. එම අංශයේ ආදායම පසුගිය වසරට සාපේක්ෂව සියයට 84කින් ඉහළ ගොස් රුපියල් බිලියන 42.88ක් ලෙස වාර්තා විය. මීට අමතරව, පාරිභෝගික හා සිල්ලර වෙළෙඳ අංශය ද සියයට 46ක වර්ධනයක් පෙන්වමින් රුපියල් බිලියන 49.22ක ආදායමක් උපයා ඇත. සමූහයේ අපනයන කේන්ද්‍රීය අංශ ද සියයට 24ක ආදායම් වර්ධනයක් වාර්තා කර තිබීම විශේෂත්වයකි.

සමූහයේ පොලී, බදු සහ ක්ෂයවීම්වලට පෙර ලාභය සියයට 46කින් ඉහළ ගොස් රුපියල් බිලියන 18.11ක් ලෙස සටහන් වී ඇති අතර, පොලී සහ බදු ගෙවීමට පෙර ලාභය රුපියල් බිලියන 14.02ක් දක්වා සියයට 53කින් වර්ධනය වී තිබේ. 

මෙම ශක්තිමත් මූල්‍ය පදනම මත ඉදිරි කාලසීමාව තුළ ද සමූහයේ වර්ධනය තවදුරටත් තහවුරු වනු ඇති බව හේලීස් කළමනාකාරීත්වය විශ්වාසය පළ කරයි.

In a remarkable financial performance, the Hayleys Group has reported a pre-tax profit of Rs. 10.15 billion for the first quarter of the 2026/27 financial year, reflecting an impressive growth of 61% compared to the same period last year.

For the quarter ending June 30, 2026, the group's consolidated revenue soared to Rs. 179.32 billion, marking a 38% increase. After accounting for taxes, the group's profit stood at Rs. 5.92 billion, signifying a substantial growth of 86%.

The transportation and supply chain management segment has been a key contributor to this growth, with revenues reported at Rs. 42.88 billion, an astounding increase of 84% over the previous year. Additionally, the consumer and retail sector also demonstrated robust performance, achieving revenue of Rs. 49.22 billion, up by 46%. Notably, the group's export-focused segment recorded a revenue growth of 24%, further highlighting its versatility.

On a broader scale, the group's profit before interest, tax, and depreciation climbed to Rs. 18.11 billion, indicating a 46% rise, while earnings before interest and tax reached Rs. 14.02 billion, reflecting a 53% uplift.

Confident in this strong financial foundation, Hayleys management anticipates that the group will continue to maintain its growth trajectory in the forthcoming periods.
