 බන්ධනාගාර තුළ හදිසි තත්වයක් ඇති වුවහොත් ප්‍රාදේශියව සම්බන්ධිකරණයක් පවත්වා ගනිමින් රාජ්‍ය ආයතන අතර ඒකාබද්ධ යාන්ත්‍රණයක් ඇති කිරීම තුළින් හදිසි ප්‍රතිචාර දැක්වීම සහ රැඳවියන්ගේ සුභ සාධන කටයුතු විධිමත් කිරීමේ අරමුණින් යුතුව ක්‍රියාත්මක වැඩපිළිවෙළ යටතේ අනුරාධපුර බන්ධනාගාරය මුලික කර ගනිමින් ඒකාබද්ධ යාන්ත්‍රණය පිහිටුවීම අනුරාධපුර බන්ධනාගාර පරිශ්‍රයේදී ගරු අධිකරණ සහ ජාතික ඒකාබද්ධතා අමාත්‍ය, නීතිඥ හර්ෂණ නානායක්කාර මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන්  බන්ධනාගාරයේදී  ( 26) පස්වරුවේ පැවැත්විණ.

හදිසි අවස්ථාවකදී ප්‍රතිචාර දැක්වීමට සහ රැඳවියන්ගේ සුභ සාධනය මුලික අරමුණ කර ගනිමින් රාජ්‍ය ආයතන සම්බන්ධ කර ගනිමින් ඒකාබද්ධ යාන්ත්‍රණයක් දිවයිනේ සෑම බන්ධනාගාරයක් තුළම ස්ථාපිත කිරීමට කටයුතු කරනු ලබන අතර, ඒකාබද්ධ යාන්ත්‍රණය පිහිටුවීමේ අරමුණ සම්බන්ධයෙන් අධිකරණ අමාත්‍යතුමා විසින් රාජ්‍ය නිලධාරීන් දැනුවත් කරන ලදී.

ඒකාබද්ධ යාන්ත්‍රණය පිහිටුවීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් සාකච්ඡා කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව අධිකරණ අමාත්‍යතුමා අනුරාධපුර බන්ධනාගාරයේ රැඳවියන්ගේ අවශ්‍යතා සොයා බැලීමේ නිරීක්ෂණයක  නිරත වූ අතර කාන්තා අංශය, මුළුතැන්ගෙය  සහ රිමාන්ඩ් සැකකරුවන් රඳවා ඇති ස්ථාන අමාත්‍යතුමාගේ නිරීක්ෂණයට ලක් වූ අතර එළිමහන් සිරකඳවුරේ රැඳවියන් ආමන්ත්‍රණය කිරීම ද මෙහිදී සිදු විය.

අනුරාධපුර අතිරේක දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් සන්ධ්‍යා අබේසේකර, අනුරාධපුර සහකාර ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් එස්.යූ. සුභසිංහ, බන්ධනාගාර අධිකාරී ප්‍රසාද් ප්‍රේමතිලක, අනුරාධපුර ප්‍රදේශය භාර ජ්‍යේෂ්ඨ නියෝජ්‍ය පොලිස්පති පී.සී.ඒ. ධනපාල යන මහත්ම මහත්මීන් ඇතුළු ජල සම්පාදන මණ්ඩලය, බන්ධනාගාර දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව, ශ්‍රී ලංකා නාවික හමුදාව, යුද හමුදාව, පොලීසිය, සෞඛ්‍ය වෛද්‍ය නිලධාරී කාර්යාලය ඇතුළු රාජ්‍ය ආයතන නියෝජනය කරමින් උසස් නිලධාරීන් මෙම අවස්ථාවට එක්ව සිටියහ.

Integrated Response Mechanism Established at Anuradhapura Prison

In a significant move, the Anuradhapura Prison has implemented an integrated response mechanism designed to address emergencies effectively, ensuring the well-being of inmates. This initiative was led by Justice Minister Harshana Rajakaruna during a meeting held at the prison premises on the afternoon of the 26th.

The objective of this unified response system is to streamline coordination among government agencies in the event of emergencies while also prioritizing the welfare of those incarcerated. During the meeting, the minister informed government officials about the establishment of such a mechanism across all prisons in the country.

Following discussions on the integrated system, Minister Rajakaruna undertook an inspection of the Anuradhapura Prison to assess the needs of the inmates. Special attention was given to the women's section, the kitchen areas, and the facilities where remand suspects are held. The inspection also included an engagement with the inmates at the open prison camp.

Present at the event were key officials including Anuradhapura Additional District Secretary Sandhya Abeysekera, Anuradhapura Deputy Provincial Secretary S.Y.U. Subasinghe, and Prison Superintendent Prasad Prema Thilaka, along with senior representatives from various government bodies such as the Water Supply Board, Department of Prisons, Sri Lanka Navy, Army, Police, and the health sector.
