As the President's term draws to a close, Dasanayake expressed suspicions that certain factions may seek to undermine either the executive presidency or the prime ministerial position.

Furthermore, the MP commented that some groups seem intent on remaining in Parliament for another 20 years, behaving in ways that obstruct others from contributing effectively.

He also indicated that he possesses a list of individuals expected to face legal repercussions, underscoring the need for accountability in the current political landscape.
