පසුගිය අගෝස්තු 12 වනදා ජනාධිපතිවරයා සහ ශ්රී ලංකා නීතිඥ සංගමය (BASL) අතර පැවති සාකච්ඡාවේ සම්පූර්ණ වීඩියෝ පටිගත කිරීම් ලබාදෙන ලෙස කළ ඉල්ලීමට ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලය ප්රතිචාර දක්වා තිබේ.
ජනාධිපති මාධ්ය අංශයේ අධ්යක්ෂ ජනරාල් ප්රසන්න පෙරේරා මහතාගේ අත්සනින් යුතුව නීතිඥ සංගමය වෙත මෙම නිල ලිපිය යොමු කර ඇත.
අදාළ සාකච්ඡාවේදී නීතිඥ සංගමයේ සභාපතිවරයා සිදුකළ ප්රකාශවලට අදාළ සංස්කරණය නොකළ වීඩියෝ දර්ශන, ඉල්ලීම සිදුකළ අගෝස්තු 12 වන දිනම එම සංගමය වෙත ලබා දීමට පියවර ගත් බව එම ලිපිය මගින් සිහිපත් කර තිබේ.
එමෙන්ම, එම රැස්වීමට සහභාගී වූ අනෙකුත් පාර්ශ්වයන් ඉදිරිපත් කළ අදහස් සහ යෝජනා ඇතුළත් වීඩියෝ දර්ශන ද ඉදිරියේදී ලබාදීමට නියමිතය.
අදාළ නිල ක්රියාපටිපාටීන් අනුගමනය කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව එම දර්ශන හැකි ඉක්මනින් නීතිඥ සංගමය වෙත මුදාහැරීමට කටයුතු කරන බව අධ්යක්ෂ ජනරාල්වරයා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කර ඇත.
අදාළ වීඩියෝ දර්ශන විධිමත් සහ නිසි ක්රමවේදයකට අනුව ලබාදීම සඳහා ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලයේ පූර්ණ සහයෝගය නිරන්තරයෙන් හිමිවන බව ද එම ලිපිය මගින් අවධාරණය කර තිබේ.
Presidential Office Responds to Request for Video Recordings of August 12 Discussion with BASL
The Presidential Office has acknowledged a request for full video recordings of the dialogue that took place on August 12 between the President and the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL).
A formal letter, signed by the Director General of the Presidential Media Division, Prasanna Perera, was dispatched to the lawyer's association. This letter confirms that unedited video footage of statements made by the BASL President during the discussion will be provided on the same day the request was made.
In addition, the letter notes that video recordings containing comments and proposals from other participants present at the meeting will also be made available in the future.
Director General Perera further stated that steps are being taken to release these recordings to the BASL as swiftly as possible, adhering to the appropriate official protocols.
The letter also emphasizes that the Presidential Office will continuously provide full support for the systematic and orderly dissemination of the video footage.
*Note: In case of any discrepancy between the Sinhala and English versions, the Sinhala version shall prevail.
