ශ්‍රී ජයවර්ධනපුර රෝහලේ වැඩබලන නියෝජ්‍ය අධ්‍යක්ෂවරිය සහ විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍යවරියක අතර ඇතිවූ මතභේදාත්මක තත්ත්වයක් සමථයකට පත් කිරීම සඳහා ශ්‍රී ජයවර්ධනපුර කෝට්ටේ සමථ මූල මණ්ඩලය වෙත යොමු කිරීමට මිරිහාන පොලිසිය පියවර ගෙන තිබේ.

මෙම ගැටුමට මූලික හේතුව වී ඇත්තේ රෝහලේ වකුගඩු රෝග සත්කාර ඒකකයේ සේවය කළ වෛද්‍යවරයෙකු වෙනත් අංශයකට මාරු කර යැවීමට වැඩබලන නියෝජ්‍ය අධ්‍යක්ෂවරිය ගත් තීරණයකි.

අදාළ ඒකකයේ පවතින වෛද්‍ය හිඟය හමුවේ මෙම මාරු කිරීම සිදු නොකරන ලෙස විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍යවරිය කළ ඉල්ලීමක් දුරදිග යාමෙන් දෙපාර්ශවය අතර උණුසුම් වචන හුවමාරුවක් සිදුව ඇත.

එහිදී විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍යවරිය තමාට බැණ තර්ජනය කළ බවට නියෝජ්‍ය අධ්‍යක්ෂවරිය විසින් මිරිහාන පොලිසියට පැමිණිල්ලක් ඉදිරිපත් කර තිබුණි. 

ඒ සම්බන්ධයෙන් මූලික විමර්ශන සිදුකළ පොලිසිය, දෙපාර්ශවය අතර පවතින ගැටලුව සාමකාමීව විසඳා ගැනීම සඳහා එය සමථ මණ්ඩලය වෙත යොමු කිරීමට තීරණය කර ඇත.

Conflict Erupts at Sri Jayawardenepura Hospital Over Staff Relocation

The Mirihana Police have escalated a dispute between the acting deputy director of Sri Jayawardenepura Hospital and a specialist doctor to the mediation board in Kotte, aiming for a resolution.

This conflict arose after the deputy director's decision to transfer a physician from the hospital's nephrology unit to another department. The specialist doctor strongly opposed this move, citing a shortage of medical personnel in the unit, leading to a heated exchange between the two parties.

During the altercation, the acting deputy director reported to the Mirihana Police that the specialist doctor had allegedly threatened her. In light of these serious allegations, the police conducted preliminary inquiries and determined that the matter should be referred to the mediation board in order to achieve a peaceful settlement.
