නිල නිවාස සහ රජයේ වාහන අවභාවිත කළ බවට එල්ල වූ පැමිණිල්ලක් පදනම් කරගනිමින්, කතානායක වෛද්‍ය ජගත් වික්‍රමරත්න මහතාට එරෙහිව අල්ලස් හෝ දූෂණ චෝදනා විමර්ශන කොමිෂන් සභාව පුළුල් විමර්ශනයක් ආරම්භ කර තිබේ.

පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ හිටපු කාර්ය මණ්ඩල ප්‍රධානී සහ නියෝජ්‍ය මහලේකම්, නීතිඥ චමින්ද කුලරත්න මහතා විසින් ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලද පැමිණිල්ලකට අනුව මෙම විමර්ශන ක්‍රියාත්මක වේ. 

ඒ අනුව, අල්ලස් කොමිසම අද (12) පෙරවරුවේ චමින්ද කුලරත්න මහතා කැඳවා තිබූ අතර, එහිදී ඔහුගෙන් දීර්ඝ ලෙස ප්‍රශ්න කර ප්‍රකාශයක් සටහන් කර ගැනීමට නිලධාරීන් පියවර ගෙන ඇත.

කතානායකවරයාට එරෙහිව ඉදිරිපත්ව ඇති චෝදනා දහයක් සම්බන්ධයෙන් කොමිසමේ විශේෂ අවධානය යොමුව ඇති අතර, ඉදිරි දිනවලදී මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් තවදුරටත් සාක්ෂි කැඳවීමට නියමිත බව වාර්තා වේ.

Commission Launches Comprehensive Investigation into Allegations Against Speaker Jagath Vickramaratne

An inquiry has been initiated by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption against Speaker Jagath Vickramaratne, following allegations of misuse of official residences and government vehicles. The investigation stems from a complaint filed by Chamintha Kularatne, the former Chief of Staff and Deputy Secretary of Parliament.

The Bribery Commission summoned Kularatne earlier today, where officials took a detailed statement from him, probing the various allegations against the Speaker.

Particular focus has been placed on ten specific allegations against Vickramaratne, with the Commission expected to gather further evidence in the coming days.
