 ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ වෘත්තීය ක්‍රිකට් ක්‍රීඩකයන්ගේ අයිතිවාසිකම් සුරක්ෂිත කිරීම සහ ඔවුන්ගේ සුබසාධනය වෙනුවෙන් පෙනී සිටීම සඳහා "ශ්‍රී ලංකා වෘත්තීය ක්‍රිකට් ක්‍රීඩකයන්ගේ සංගමය" ස්ථාපිත කර තිබේ.

මෙම නව සංගමයේ සමාරම්භක සභාපතිවරයා ලෙස ශ්‍රී ලංකා සීමිත පන්දුවාර ක්‍රිකට් කණ්ඩායමේ වත්මන් නායක කුසල් මෙන්ඩිස් පත් කර ගෙන ඇත.

ක්‍රීඩකයන්ගේ වෘත්තීය ගැටලු සම්බන්ධයෙන් සාමූහිකව හඬක් නැගීම සහ ක්‍රීඩාවේ උන්නතිය වෙනුවෙන් ක්‍රීඩක දායකත්වය ලබා දීම මෙම සංගමයේ මූලික අරමුණක් බව වාර්තා වේ.

ක්‍රිකට් ආරංචි මාර්ග සඳහන් කරන පරිදි, මෙම වැඩපිළිවෙළ සඳහා ශ්‍රී ලංකා කාන්තා ක්‍රිකට් කණ්ඩායමේ නායිකා චමරි අතපත්තු සහ ප්‍රමුඛ පෙළේ තුන් ඉරියව් ක්‍රීඩක වනිදු හසරංග ද සිය පූර්ණ සහාය පළ කර තිබේ.

ඔවුන්ගේ මෙම මැදිහත්වීමත් සමඟ මෙරට ක්‍රිකට් ක්‍රීඩක ක්‍රීඩිකාවන් විශාල පිරිසක් මෙම සංගමය වටා රොක් වනු ඇතැයි අපේක්ෂා කෙරේ.

ශ්‍රී ලංකා වෘත්තීය ක්‍රිකට් ක්‍රීඩකයන්ගේ සංගමය ඉදිරියේදී ලෝක ක්‍රිකට් ක්‍රීඩකයන්ගේ සංගමය (FICA) සමඟ ද්විපාර්ශ්වික සබඳතා පවත්වමින් ජාත්‍යන්තර මට්ටමින් ක්‍රියාත්මක වීමට සැලසුම් කර ඇති බව වැඩිදුරටත් වාර්තා වේ.

New Association Established to Protect Rights of Sri Lankan Professional Cricketers

Aiming to safeguard the rights and welfare of professional cricketers in Sri Lanka, the "Sri Lanka Professional Cricketers' Association" has been officially established.

Kusal Mendis, the current captain of the Sri Lankan limited overs cricket team, has been appointed as the inaugural chairperson of this new association.

The primary objective of the association is to collectively address the professional issues faced by players and to contribute towards the advancement of the sport.

According to reports from cricket news sources, Chamari Athapaththu, the captain of the Sri Lankan women's cricket team, along with prominent players such as Wanindu Hasaranga, have expressed their full support for this initiative.

With this support, it is anticipated that a significant number of cricket players in the country will rally around the new association.

Furthermore, it has been reported that the Sri Lanka Professional Cricketers' Association plans to establish bilateral relations with the Federation of International Cricketers' Associations (FICA) to operate on an international level in the future.
