රත්මලාන, කඳවල පාර ප්‍රදේශයේදී අද සිදුවූ වෙඩි තැබීමකින් බරපතළ තුවාල ලැබූ පුද්ගලයෙකු ජීවිතක්ෂයට පත්ව තිබේ.

පොලිසිය සඳහන් කළේ වෙඩි ප්‍රහාරයට ලක්වූ පුද්ගලයා වහාම කළුබෝවිල ශික්ෂණ රෝහලට ඇතුළත් කිරීමට පියවර ගත්තද, ඒ වන විටත් ඔහු මියගොස් සිටි බවයි.

වාර්තා වන අන්දමට, යතුරුපැදියකින් පැමිණි නාඳුනන පුද්ගලයන් දෙදෙනෙකු විසින් මෙම වෙඩි තැබීම සිදුකර පළා ගොස් ඇත.

සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් පොලිසිය විශේෂ විමර්ශනයක් ආරම්භ කර ඇති අතර, වෙඩි තැබීමට හේතුව මෙතෙක් අනාවරණය වී නොමැත.

A man succumbed to severe injuries following a shooting incident today in the Kandawala Road area of Rathmalana.

The police reported that the victim was immediately rushed to the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital; however, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Preliminary reports suggest that two unidentified individuals arrived on a motorcycle and carried out the shooting before fleeing the scene.

An extensive investigation has been launched by law enforcement to determine the motive behind the attack, which remains undisclosed at this time.
