විදුලි පද්දතිය අවදානමේ.. සෝලා Off කරන්නැයි දන්වයි..

රට පුරා වහල මත සවිකර ඇති කිලෝවොට් 300කට වඩා වැඩි ධාරිතාවකින් යුත් සූර්ය පැනල පද්ධති අද (27) සිට එළඹෙන ඉරිදා (30) දක්වා තාවකාලිකව ක්‍රියා විරහිත කරන ලෙස බලශක්ති අමාත්‍ය අනුර කරුණාතිලක මහතා විශේෂ ඉල්ලීමක් කරයි.

අදාළ දිනවල පෙරවරු 8.00 සිට පස්වරු 3.00 දක්වා වූ කාලය තුළ පමණක් මෙම පියවර ගන්නා ලෙස අමාත්‍යවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් දන්වා සිටියි.

විදුලි පද්ධතියක ස්ථාවරත්වය පවත්වා ගැනීම සඳහා විදුලි ඉල්ලුම සහ සැපයුම අතර  සමතුලිතතාවයක් පැවතීම අත්‍යවශ්‍ය වේ.

ඉල්ලුමට වඩා සැපයුම අධික ලෙස ඉහළ ගියහොත් විදුලි පද්ධතියේ සංඛ්‍යාතය අසමතුලිත වන අතර, එය සමස්ත ජාතික විදුලි පද්ධතියම බිඳ වැටීමේ (Grid Failure) දැඩි අවදානමක් ඇති කරයි.

විශේෂයෙන්ම නිවාඩු දිනවලදී හෝ කර්මාන්තශාලා ක්‍රියාත්මක නොවන අවස්ථාවලදී රටේ සමස්ත විදුලි ඉල්ලුම පහළ යන අතර, එවැනි අවස්ථාවක සූර්ය බලශක්තිය වැනි ප්‍රභවයන්ගෙන් පද්ධතියට එක්වන විදුලි ධාරිතාව පාලනයකින් තොරව ඉහළ යාම පද්ධතියේ ආරක්ෂාවට තර්ජනයකි.

මෙම තත්ත්වය වළක්වා ගනිමින් විදුලි පද්ධතියේ සුරක්ෂිතතාව තහවුරු කිරීම සඳහා විශාල පරිමාණයේ සූර්ය බලශක්ති උත්පාදකයන්ගේ සහාය අපේක්ෂා කරයි.

Temporary Shutdown of Solar Panels Across the Country to Ensure Grid Stability

The Minister of Power, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, has made a special request for the temporary suspension of solar panel systems with a capacity exceeding 300 kilowatts across the country from today, the 27th, through Sunday, the 30th.

This measure is directed to be implemented solely during the hours of 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on these days.

Maintaining a balance between electricity demand and supply is crucial for the stability of the electrical system.

If the supply significantly exceeds demand, it can lead to an imbalance in the electrical frequency, increasing the risk of a national grid failure.

This situation is especially pronounced on holidays or during periods when factories are not operational, as the overall electricity demand in the country decreases. In such moments, unregulated spikes in electricity generation from sources like solar power can threaten system security.

The minister emphasizes that the cooperation of large-scale solar energy producers is anticipated to ensure the security of the electrical system and to prevent this predicament.
