උඩරට දුම්රිය මාර්ගයේ නාවලපිටිය සිට තැඹිලිගල දක්වා කොටසෙහි දිට්වා නිසා හානියට පත් වූ ස්ථානවල සංවර්ධන කටයුතු නිරීක්ෂණය සඳහා මහනුවර දිස්ත්‍රික් පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රණී තුෂාරි ජයසිංහ මහත්මිය හා පස්බාගේ කෝරලේ ප්‍රාදේශීය  සභාපති මංජුල කරුණාරත්න මහතා එක් විය.

නිරීක්ෂණයෙන් අනතුරුව මාධ්‍යයට අදහස් දක්වමින් මන්ත්‍රීවරිය කියා සිටියේ, නාවලපිටියේ සිට උලපනේ ගඩොල් බෝක්කුව දක්වා වූ කොටසෙහි සියලු ඉදිකිරීම් ලබන මස අවසන් වන විට සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම නිම කිරීමට හැකි බවත්, උලපනේ සිට තැඹිලිගල දක්වා කොටසෙහි වැඩ නොවැම්බර් මස මුල් සතිය වන විට අවසන් වන බවයි.

ජීවිත ගණනක් අහිමි වෙමින් නායාමට ලක් වූ උලපනේ ගඩොල් බෝක්කුව ආශ්‍රිත ප්‍රදේශයෙහි දුම්රිය මාර්ගයේ සහ නාවලපිටිය මහනුවර ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගයේ කටයුතු මාර්ග සංවර්ධන අධිකාරියේ සමඟ ඒකාබද්ධව මෙම මස (21) දින ආරම්භ කරන බවත්,  නොවැම්බර් මස අවසන් වන විට නාවලපිටිය ගම්පොළ අතර සියලු සංවර්ධන කටයුතු සිදුකර දුම්රිය ගමනාගමනයට අවස්ථාව සලසා දීම තම රජයේ බලාපොරොත්තුව බවයි තුෂාරි ජයසිංහ මහත්මිය කියා සිටියේ.

පසුගියදා ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා සම්බන්ධ වී පොළොන්නරුවේ පැවැත්වුණේ ගොවි සමුළුවක් බවත්, ජනතාව එකාවන්ව පොද බැඳී ස්වේච්ඡාවෙන් එයට සහභාගි වුවේ රජයේ වැඩපිළිවෙළ දැනගැනීමට මෙන්ම ජනාධිපතිතුමා මාර්ගයෙන් ඒ පිළිබඳ පැහැදිලි කිරීමක් ලබා ගැනීමට බවත් ය. 

වත්මන් දේශපාලන තත්ත්වය පිළිබඳ අදහස් දක්වමින් පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රණීය තුශාරී ජයසිංහ මහත්මිය කියා සිටියේ.

“අනුරාධපුර ප්‍රදේශයේදී පැවති රැලිය පිළිබඳ නිශ්චිත අදහසක් ලබා දිය නොහැකි තරම් පැටලිලි සහගත බවත්, යුද්ධය දිනු නායකයා කියා කෙලින් කරගෙන ආපු නායකයා එක්කම ප්‍රභාකරන් මගෙ දෙයියා කිවූ උතුරේ නායකයකුත් ඉන්නවා. ඒ වේදිකාව කොයි විදිහට සකස් වුණාද කියලා කියන්න බෑ. පළමුවත් මව්බිම දෙවනුවත් මව්බිම කිව්ව විමල් වීරවංශ තමා එතන මූලිකත්වය අරන් සිටියේ. ජනතාව නෙමෙයි සුන්බුන් ටිකක් එතනට එකතු වෙලා සිටියේ. විහිළුවක් සැපයූවා වගේ තමා රටට දැනුනේ. පව් කියලා තමා කියන්න තියෙන්නේ. හිටපු ජනාධිපති කෙනෙක්ගෙ ප්‍රතිරූපය නොගැළපෙන ආකාරයට එතන භාවිතා වුණා කියලා තමා කියන්න තියෙන්නේ.” යනුවෙන් පැවසිය.

Development Efforts in Udarata Railways Under Scrutiny Following Landslide Damage

In a recent inspection tour along the railway route from Navala Pitiya to Thambiliwala, affected by landslides, Member of Parliament for Kandy, Tushari Jayasinghe, joined local council chairman Manjula Karunarathne to assess ongoing development initiatives.

During discussions with the media, the MP highlighted that all construction work between Navala Pitiya and Ulapane’s Gadol Bokkuwa is expected to be completed by the end of next month. Furthermore, she assured that projects from Ulapane to Thambiliwala will conclude within the first week of November.

Jayasinghe pointed out that after numerous lives were lost due to accidents in the region associated with the Gadol Bokkuwa railway line, work is set to commence on the 21st of this month in collaboration with the Road Development Authority. She emphasized her government’s commitment to facilitate railway transport between Navala Pitiya and Gampola by undertaking comprehensive development by the end of November.

In separate news, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake recently attended a farmers' conference in Polonnaruwa, where he engaged with the public. The gathering aimed to promote understanding of government initiatives and to clarify matters with the President directly.

Commenting on the current political climate, MP Tushari Jayasinghe expressed her views on a recent rally in Anuradhapura, describing it as chaotic and lacking clarity. She referred to the event as being poorly organized, with disjointed leadership figures present. According to her, the stage failed to provide a coherent platform for communication, contributing to a diluted public message. She lamented the representation of a former president in a manner that did not accurately reflect his image.
