තෙදින සංචාරයක් සදහා මෙරටට පැමිණ සිටින ඉන්දියානු ආරක්ෂක අමාත්‍ය රාජ්නාත් සිං මහතා (10) දින නුවරඑළිය හග්ගල සීතා අම්මන් කෝවිලට පැමිණ ආශිර්වාද පුජාවකට සහභාගි විය.

එම කෝවිල වෙත පැමිණි ආරක්ෂක අමාත්‍යවරයාව එම කෝවිලේ සභාපති පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී වී.රාධා ක්‍රිෂ්ණන් මහතා ඇතුලු එම කෝවිලේ භාරකාර මණ්ඩලය විසින් පිලි ගැනිමෙන් අනතුරුව ආරක්ෂක අමාත්‍යවරයා වෙනුවෙන් විශේෂ ආශිර්දාව පූජාවක් පවත්වනු ලැබූහ.

එම පූජාවෙන් අනතුරුව නුවරඑළිය සීතා අම්මන් කෝවිල වෙත පැමිණි ඉන්දියානු ආරක්ෂක අමාත්‍යවරයාට සිහිවටනයක්ද පිලිනැමීමට එම භාරකාර සභාවේ සභාපතිවරයා පියවර ගත්හ.

කොළඹ සිට ගුවන් හමුදාවේ Mi17 හෙලිකොප්ටර් යානයකින් නුවරඑළිය නගර සභා ක්‍රිඩාංගණය වෙත පැමිණි ඉන්දියානු ආරක්ෂක අමාත්‍යවරයාව නුවරඑළිය දිස්ත්‍රික් පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී (ජාතික ජන බලවේගයේ) මංජුල සුරවීරආරච්චි මහතා විසින් පිලිගනු ලැබූහ.

ත්‍රිවිධ හමුදාවේ දැඩි ආරක්ෂාව යටතේ සීතා අම්මන් කෝවිල වෙත පැමිණි ඉන්දියානු ආරක්ෂක අමාත්‍යවරයා එම කොවිලේ පැවති ආශිර්වාද පූජාවෙන් අනතුරුව යලිත් එම හෙලිකොප්ටර් යානයෙන්ම කොළඹ දක්වා පිටත්ව යන ලදි.

Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Visits Nuwara Eliya for Blessing Ceremony

Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Sri Lanka on a three-day visit, participating in an auspicious blessing ceremony at the Sri Sita Amman Kovil in Nuwara Eliya on the 10th of September.

Upon his arrival, Singh was warmly welcomed by the temple's board of trustees, including MP V. Radhakrishnan, who conducted a special puja in honor of the Defence Minister.

Following the puja, Singh was presented with a commemorative memento by the chairman of the board of trustees, a gesture that highlighted the significance of the visit.

Arriving via an Air Force Mi-17 helicopter from Colombo, Singh was received at the Nuwara Eliya municipal sports grounds by local MP Manjula Suruwarachchi of the National People's Power party.

After attending the blessing ceremony under tight security provided by the tri-services, Singh departed back to Colombo by the same helicopter.
