ජාතික ජන බලවේගය අද විපක්ෂයේ සිටියේ නම්, ඉන්දීය ආරක්ෂක අමාත්‍ය රාජ්නාත් සිං මහතාට දිවයිනට පැමිණ ගුවන්තොටුපොළෙන් පිටතට පැමිණීමට හෝ ඉඩ නොතබනු ඇති බව ජනසෙත පෙරමුණේ නායක පූජ්‍ය බත්තරමුල්ලේ සීලරතන හිමියෝ පවසති.

වත්මන් පාලකයන් අතීතයේ විපක්ෂයේ සිටි සමයේදී මෙවැනි ගිවිසුම්ගතවීම්වලට එරෙහිව පෝස්ටර්, බැනර් ප්‍රදර්ශනය කරමින් සහ සරසවි සිසුන් මහමඟට බස්සවමින් දැවැන්ත විරෝධතා සංවිධානය කළ ආකාරය සිහිපත් කළ උන්වහන්සේ, අද වන විට එම පාර්ශ්වයන්ම නිහඬ පිළිවෙතක් අනුගමනය කිරීම විමතියට කරුණක් බව පෙන්වා දුන්හ.

ඉන්දියාවට රටේ සම්පත් හෝ කොටස් ගෙඩිය පිටින් පවරා දීමේ සූදානමක් පවතින්නේදැයි ජනතාව තුළ සාධාරණ බියක් හා සැකයක් මතුව ඇති බව සඳහන් කළ සීලරතන හිමියන්, විදෙස් ඩයස්පෝරාව සහ ඉන්දියාව එක්ව රට අත්පත් කරගැනීමේ යටි අරමුණක් ක්‍රියාත්මක වන බවත්, වත්මන් පාලකයන්ට ඒ පිළිබඳ නිසි අවබෝධයක් නොමැති බවත් අවධාරණය කළහ.

එමෙන්ම, බලයට පත්වීමට පෙර එක් මතයක් දරමින් බලය ලැබුණු පසු ජනතා බලාපොරොත්තු සුන් කරන මෙවැනි දේශපාලන ක්‍රියාකලාපයන් හේතුවෙන් මෙරට පාලන ක්‍රමය දිගින් දිගටම අර්බුදයකට ලක්ව ඇති බවද උන්වහන්සේ වැඩිදුරටත් කියා සිටියහ.

Opposition Warns Against Indian Defence Minister's Visit Amid National Concerns

As the Indian Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, prepares for his official visit to Sri Lanka, concerns arise from the opposition faction, represented by the leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP), Venerable Battaramulla Seelarathana Thero. He indicated that, should they be in power, Singh would likely face restrictions upon his arrival at the airport.

During a media briefing, Seelarathana Thero criticized the current government's approach towards Singh's visit and related agreements, describing it as a policy stemming from mutual opposition. He recalled a time when the very leaders now in power organized massive protests against similar agreements during their tenure in the opposition, illustrating a stark contrast in their present actions.

The Thero expressed concern over the public's rising fears and suspicions regarding the potential transfer of national resources or lucrative assets to India. He suggested that there appears to be a covert agenda at play, with collaboration between foreign diaspora and India aimed at exerting control over the nation, while the current rulers lack a clear understanding of the situation.

Furthermore, he reflected on the troubling consequences of political maneuvers that, despite being presented under the guise of a unified front before gaining power, ultimately disappoint public expectations and plunge the governance of the country into ongoing turmoil.
