ප්‍රකට රගර් ක්‍රීඩක වසීම් තාජුඩීන්ගේ ඝාතනයට සම්බන්ධ බවට සැක කෙරෙන ඩබල් කැබ් රථ තුනක් තවත් අපරාධ රැසක් සඳහා යොදාගෙන ඇති බවට තොරතුරු අනාවරණය වී ඇතැයි සති අන්ත පුවත්පත් වාර්තා කරයි.

හිටපු ජනාධිපති ආර්යා ශිරන්ති රාජපක්ෂ සහ ඇගේ පුත් යෝෂිත රාජපක්ෂ යන මහත්ම මහත්මීන්ගේ ආරක්ෂාව වෙනුවෙන් ජනාධිපති ලේකම් කාර්යාලය හරහා මෙම කැබ් රථ තුන ලබා දී තිබී ඇත.

WPPD 79–, WPPD 80– සහ WPGB 05– යන ලියාපදිංචි අංක දරන මෙම වාහන තාජුඩීන් ඝාතන සිද්ධියට සම්බන්ධ බවට විමර්ශන නිලධාරීන් විසින් මීට පෙරද තොරතුරු සොයාගෙන තිබුණි.

අදාළ වාහනවල ධාවන සටහන් පොත් (Running Charts) අතුරුදන්වීම් මෙන්ම පවත්වාගෙන ගිය වාර්තාවල පවතින බරපතළ අඩුපාඩු ඇතුළු අක්‍රමිකතා රැසක් විමර්ශකයන්ගේ නිරීක්ෂණයට ලක්ව ඇත.

සිදුකරන ලද වැඩිදුර පරීක්ෂණවලදී හෙළි වී ඇත්තේ මෙම වාහන විවිධ පාර්ශ්වයන් විසින් තවත් අපරාධ ගණනාවක් සඳහාම භාවිත කර ඇති බවයි.

මීට අමතරව, තාජුඩීන් මියගොස් සිටියදී හමුවූ 2012 මැයි 16 වැනි දින රාත්‍රියේ ජනාධිපති ලේකම් කාර්යාල පරිශ්‍රයට ඇතුළු වූ තවත් වාහන පහක් පිළිබඳවද විමර්ශන නිලධාරීන්ගේ දැඩි අවධානය යොමුව තිබේ.

WP LV 05–, WP PD 13–, WP KA 98–, WP KD 01– සහ WP PA 72– යන අංක දරන එම වාහනවල ධාවන සටහන් පොත් ආශ්‍රිතවද බරපතළ මට්ටමේ අක්‍රමිකතා රැසක් හඳුනාගෙන ඇති බව විමර්ශන අංශ වැඩිදුරටත් අනාවරණය කරයි.

Investigation Links Vehicles to High-Profile Murder Case

New revelations have surfaced regarding the involvement of three double cab vehicles in multiple criminal activities, including the assassination of renowned rugby player Wasim Tajudeen, according to reports from weekend newspapers.

These vehicles were reportedly provided through the Presidential Secretariat for the protection of former President Arya Shiranti Rajapaksa and her son, Yoshitha Rajapaksa.

Registered under the numbers WPPD 79–, WPPD 80–, and WPGB 05–, these vehicles were already under scrutiny by investigators for their ties to the Tajudeen murder case.

The absence of running charts alongside significant discrepancies in maintained records have raised red flags for investigators examining these vehicles.

Further investigations have revealed that these cars have been used by various parties for other criminal activities as well.

In addition, authorities are closely examining five other vehicles that entered the Presidential Secretariat grounds on the night of May 16, 2012, when Tajudeen was brutally murdered.

The vehicles, identified by the numbers WP LV 05–, WP PD 13–, WP KA 98–, WP KD 01–, and WP PA 72–, have also been linked to serious operational irregularities in their running charts, as revealed by the investigative division's ongoing inquiries.
