මේ වන විට රටේ අතිවිශාල ව්‍යාපාරික අවස්ථා ප්‍රමාණයක් නිර්මාණය වී ඇති බවත් ඒ් සඳහා ඔ්නෑම ආයෝජකයකුට කිසිදු හිතවත්කමක් නොමැතිව ආයෝජනය කළ හැකි බවත් ඇමති බිමල් රත්නායක මහතා ප්‍රකාශ කරයි.

මනම්පිටියේ සිට වැලි ගෙන යෑම නිසා මාර්ගයේ පැත්තක් ගිලා බැස ඇති බවත් ඒ් සඳහා දුම්රිය භාවිතයට ගැනීමේ අවශ්‍යතාව පැන නැගී ඇති බවත් ඇමතිවරයා සඳහන් කරයි.

ඇමති බිමල් රත්නායක මේ බව ප්‍රකශ කළේ අරලිය අධිපති ඩඩ්ලි සිරිසේන ගේ මූල්‍ය පරිත්‍යාගයෙන් රුපියල් ලක්ෂ 350ක් වැයකර නවීකරණය කරන ලද පොළොන්නරුව දුම්රිය ස්ථානය ජනතා අයිතියට එක් කිරීමේ අවස්ථාවට එකතු වෙමිනි.

Transport Minister Calls for State Control of Araliya Rice Business Amidst Business Growth

Transport Minister Bimal Ratnayake has asserted that claims about the government's opposition to private enterprises hold water, suggesting that the Araliya rice business should be operated under government control. He emphasized that the current administration has welcomed notable business initiatives without any bias towards private operators.

Highlighting the significant opportunities that have emerged for businesses in the country, Ratnayake pointed out that any investor can venture into these projects without any favors or preferential treatment. He noted the unprecedented business landscape now available for investment.

In a related discussion, Ratnayake mentioned that due to the extraction of sand from Mannampitiya, one side of the roadway has sunk, necessitating the use of railways for transportation to address this issue.

The minister made these remarks during an event to mark the transfer of the newly refurbished Polonnaruwa railway station, which was renovated at a cost of Rs. 3.5 million from the financial contributions of Araliya CEO Dedli Sirisena, into public ownership.
