අපේ හෙද සංගමය ජාතික මට්ටමේ ක්‍රිඩකයන් බිහි කරල තියෙනවා..

 දීපව්‍යාප්තව සේවය කරන මෙරට හෙද නිළධාරින්ගේ ක්‍රීඩා කුසලතා වැඩි දියුණු කිරිම සදහා රජෙය් හෙද නිළධාරින්ගේ සංගමය මගින් වාර්ෂිකව සංවිධානය කරන ලද හෙද ක්‍රීඩා උළෙල (03) දින නුවරඒළිය සිනෙසිටා ක්‍රීඩාංගණයෙදි පැවැත්විණ.

ඒම සංගමයේ සභාපති සමන් රත්නප්‍රිය මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් 13 වන වතාවට පැවැත්වෙන හෙද ක්‍රීඩා උළෙලේ සමාරම්භක උත්සවයට හිටපු පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී වෛද්‍ය රාජිත සේනාරත්න මහතා ඇතුලු පිරිසක් සහභාගි වි සිටියහ.

මෙම ක්‍රීඩා උළෙලට යාපනය, මඩකලපුව, ත්‍රීකුණමලය, දිවයිනේ සෑම දිස්ත්‍රික්කයක්ම නියෝජනය කරමින් හෙදියන් පැමිණ සිටියහ.

හෙද ක්‍රීඩා උළෙල සම්බන්ධයෙන් මාධ්‍යට අදහස් දැක්වූ ඒම සංගමයේ සභාපති සමන් රත්නප්‍රිය මහතා කියා සිටියේ.

පැය 24, පැය 48 වැනි කාලයක් අඛණ්ඩව සේවය කරන හෙද නිළධාරින්ගේ මානසිකත්වය ඉහළ නැංවිමේ අරමුනින් මෙම ක්‍රීඩා උලෙල වාර්ෂිකව පවත්වන බවයි.

ඒම සංගමය මගින් ජාතික මට්ටමේ ක්‍රිඩකයන් කිහිප දෙනෙකුද බිහි කර ඇති බව සමන් රත්නප්‍රිය මහතා පැවසීය.

Annual Nursing Sports Festival Celebrates Skills and Wellbeing in Nuwara Eliya

In an effort to enhance the sporting skills of Sri Lanka's nursing professionals, the annual Nursing Sports Festival was successfully held at the Sinethita Sports Complex in Nuwara Eliya. Organized by the Government Nurses' Association, this event took place for the 13th time, showcasing talents from across the nation.

The festival was inaugurated under the leadership of Saman Rathnapriya, the President of the Association, and included the participation of notable guests, including former parliamentarian Dr. Rajitha Senaratne.

Nurses representing every district of the country, including regions such as Jaffna, Madakalpuwa, and Trincomalee, gathered to compete and celebrate their skills in various sports.

Discussing the importance of the event, Saman Rathnapriya emphasized that the sports festival aims to boost the mental wellbeing of nurses, who often serve long hours, sometimes spanning 24 to 48 hours continuously.

He also noted that the Association has contributed to nurturing several national-level athletes in the nursing sector, highlighting its ongoing commitment to fostering talent and supporting the mental health of its members.
