මාගම්පුර වරාය පරිශ්‍රය ආශ්‍රිත ප්‍රදේශය පිරිසිදු කර ගැනීම සඳහා එහි ගොඩගසා තිබූ කළුගල් තොගයක් මාලදිවයින වෙත අපනයනය කිරීමට 2024 වසරේදී පෞද්ගලික සමාගමකට එක්වරක් පමණක් වලංගු වන විශේෂ බලපත්‍රයක් නිකුත් කර තිබූ බව අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය ආචාර්ය හරිනි අමරසූරිය මෙනෙවිය පැවසුවාය.
වරාය භූමියෙහි ගොඩගැසී තිබූ කළුගල් ඉවත් කර එම ප්‍රදේශය නිදහස් කර ගැනීමේ මූලික අරමුණින් මෙම අපනයන අවසරය ලබා දී තිබූ බව ද අග්‍රාමාත්‍යවරිය මෙහිදී වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කර සිටියාය.

Government Issues Special Export License for Gemstone Exportation from Magampura Port Area
Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya announced that a special export license has been granted to a private company for the export of a stockpile of black stones from the Magampura Port area in 2024. This license will be valid for one-time use only, aimed at cleaning up the port region.
The primary goal of this export permission is to facilitate the removal of black stones that are currently obstructing the port land, thereby clearing the area for future development, the Prime Minister further elaborated during discussions in Parliament today.
*Note: In case of any discrepancy between the Sinhala and English versions, the Sinhala version shall prevail.
