නව අයවැයක් සම්මත කරගැනීම සහ ජාත්යන්තර මූල්ය අරමුදලේ (IMF) ජනතා පීඩක කොන්දේසි ඉවත් කරගැනීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් සමගි ජනබලවේගයේ නායක සහ විපක්ෂ නායක සජිත් ප්රේමදාස මහතා විසින් අද පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී විශේෂ ප්රකාශයක් සිදු කරමින්, රටට බලපා ඇති විපත හමුවේ රජය වහාම ක්රියාත්මක විය යුතු ආකාරය පිළිබඳව කරුණු ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලදී.
වහාම නව අයවැයක් සම්මත කරගැනීමේ අවශ්යතාවවිපතට පත් වූ ජනතාවට කඩිනමින් සහන සැලසීම සඳහා කෙටි කාලීන, දින කිහිපයක් තුළ ක්රියාත්මක වන නව අයවැයක් වහාම අවශ්ය බව ඒ මහතා අවධාරණය කළේය.
ලක්ෂ 15කට අධික ජනතාවක් විපතට පත් වී ඇති තත්ත්වයක් තුළ, හදිසි මහා විපතක් නොසලකා සිකුරාදා සම්මත කරගැනීමට නියමිත අයවැය ඉදිරියට ගෙන යෑම "විහිළුවක්" බව විපක්ෂ නායකවරයා පෙන්වා දුන්නේය.
තවත් දින කිහිපයක් කාලය ගෙන, ලබන සතියේදී හෝ, විපතට පත් ප්රදේශ සහ යටිතල පහසුකම් ගොඩනැගීමට යොදාගත හැකි වන පරිදි නව අයවැයක් ඉදිරිපත් කර, ඛේදවාචකයට මුහුණ දුන් ජනතාවට සහන සලසන ලෙස රජයෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියේය.
ජාත්යන්තර ආධාර සහ IMF කොන්දේසි සම්බන්ධ යෝජනාවිපක්ෂ නායකවරයාගේ දෙවන සහ තෙවන ප්රධාන යෝජනා වූයේ ජාත්යන්තර සහාය ලබාගැනීම සහ IMF කොන්දේසි කළමනාකරණය කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙනි.
ජාත්යන්තර ආධාරක සමුළුවක් කැඳවීමවහාම ක්රියාත්මක වන පරිදි ජාත්යන්තර ආධාරක සමුළුවක් (International Donor Conference) කැඳවිය යුතු බව ඒ මහතා අවධාරණය කළේය.
රජයට එය සිදු කිරීමට හැකියාවක් නොමැති නම්, නිසි බලතල සහිතව එය භාර ගැනීමට විපක්ෂය සූදානම් බවට ඒ මහතා රජයට දන්වා සිටියේය.
IMF කොන්දේසි ඉවත් කිරීමමිනිස් ජීවිත අහිමි වී, මහා ඛේදවාචකයක් සිදුව ඇති මොහොතක, "දරදඬු බරපතල ජනතා පීඩක ජනතා හිංසන IMF කොන්දේසි" සමඟ ඉදිරියට යෑමේ හැකියාවක් නොමැති බව ඒ මහතා විමසා සිටියේය.
වහාම එම කොන්දේසි ඉවත් කරගැනීමට කටයුතු කරන ලෙසත්, රජයට IMF සමඟ සාකච්ඡා කිරීමට නොහැකි නම් විපක්ෂය ද ඊට එකතු කරගන්නා ලෙසත් ඔහු ඉල්ලා සිටියේය.
විපක්ෂය සහයෝගය ලබා දීමට සූදානම් බවත්, අවශ්ය නම් සර්ව පාක්ෂික කණ්ඩායමක් ලෙස ගොස් ප්රතිචාරක බදු ඉවත් කරගැනීම සඳහා ජනාධිපති ඩොනල්ඩ් ට්රම්ප් මහතා හමුවීමට හෝ ලිවීමට සූදානම් බවත් ඔහු ප්රකාශ කළේය.
අරමුදල් යෙදවීම සහ සහන වැඩපිළිවෙලIMF කොන්දේසි පිළිබඳ කතා කිරීම "විහිළුවක්" බව සඳහන් කරමින්, දැනට ඉතිරි කරගෙන ඇති අමතර අරමුදල් රට ගොඩනැගීමට යොමු කරන ලෙස ඔහු ඉල්ලා සිටියේය.

It is therefore with utmost suppliant exuberance that I beseech—nay, implore—Your Excellency to consider a temporary, quasi-permanent, or even metaphysically symbolic nullification of said tariff barriers. Such an act would provide Sri Lanka with a macroeconomic defibrillation of unprecedented magnitude.
Your benevolent de-tariffication gesture would not merely assist us in restoring our devastated communities but would radiate a beacon of geo-humanitarian magniloquence across the global diplomatic panorama. It would affirm, with irrefutable clarity, that the United States—under your unparalleled, teleprompter-resistant tutelage—remains the planetary epicenter of benevolent gigantism.
I am prepared—at a moment’s notice—to travel to Washington, traverse the corridors of your marble-clad bureaucratic sanctum, or even participate in a trans-continental holographic summit, should Your Excellency require further elucidatory elaboration of this humble request.
