බස් රථ අනතුරක්.. 19ක් රෝහලට..

 

තිස්ස ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගයේ වීරවිල ප්‍රදේශයේදී පෞද්ගලික බස් රථයක් මාර්ගයෙන් ඉවතට පැන සිදුවූ අනතුරකින් පුද්ගලයින් 19 දෙනෙකු තුවාල ලබා රෝහල් ගත කර තිබේ.

තුවාල ලැබූවන් අතර කාන්තාවන් නව දෙනෙකු ද වන බව පොලිසිය පවසයි.

තිස්සමහාරාමයේ සිට මාතර බලා ධාවනය වෙමින් තිබූ මෙම බස් රථය පළමුව යතුරුපැදියක ගැටී ඇති අතර, අනතුරුව පාලනය කරගත නොහැකිව මාර්ගය අසල පිහිටි පසු සම්පත් ආයතනයේ ආරක්ෂිත වැට ද කඩාගෙන ගොස් කොහොඹ ගසක වැදී නතර වී ඇත.

මෙම අනතුරින් යතුරුපැදියේ ගමන් කළ පුද්ගලයින් දෙදෙනා බරපතල තුවාල ලබා ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ.

අනතුරින් තුවාල ලැබූ පිරිස වහාම තිස්සමහාරාම දෙබරවැව මූලික රෝහල වෙත ඇතුළත් කිරීමට පියවර ගෙන තිබුණි.

එහිදී තත්ත්වය බරපතල වූ කිහිපදෙනෙකු වැඩිදුර ප්‍රතිකාර සඳහා හම්බන්තොට දිස්ත්‍රික් මහ රෝහල වෙත මාරු කර යවා ඇති බව රෝහල් ආරංචි මාර්ග සඳහන් කරයි.

 සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් වීරවිල පොලිසිය වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන පවත්වනු ලබයි.

Bus Accident in Weeravila Injures 19, Two in Critical Condition

A serious accident on the Thissa Main Road in the Weeravila area has left 19 individuals injured, who have since been admitted to hospital. Among those injured, nine are reported to be women, according to police officials.

The private bus, which was traveling from Thissamaharama to Matara, first collided with a motorcycle. Losing control after the impact, the bus veered off the road, crashing through the fence of a nearby resource institution before finally colliding with a tree.

Reports indicate that two individuals on the motorcycle sustained severe injuries in the crash.

Emergency measures were swiftly initiated to transport the injured parties to the Debarawewa Base Hospital in Thissamaharama. Hospital sources revealed that several individuals in critical condition have been transferred to the Hambantota District General Hospital for further treatment.

The Weeravila police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
