පස් කන්දක් කඩා වැටී ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගය අවහිරි වේ..

 හැටන් නුවරඑලිය ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගයට පස් කන්දක් කඩා වැටීමෙන් එම මාර්ගයේ ගමනා ගමන කටයුතු (04) දින පස්වරුවේ සිට එක් මන්තීරුවකට සීමා කර ඇත.

එම මාර්ගයේ කුඩාගම ප්‍රදේශයෙන් (04) දින පස්වරු 5:30ට පමණ පස් කන්ද කඩා වැටී ඇති බවත්, පස් කන්ද කඩ වැටීම හේතුවෙන් එම මාර්ගයේ ගමනා ගමන කටයුතු එක් මන්තීරුවකට සීමා කර ඇති බවයි හැටන් පොලිසිය කියා සිටියේ.

පවතින වර්ෂාවත් සමග එම මාර්ගයේ රථවාහන ධාවනයේදි සලකිලිමත් ලෙස සෙමින් රිය ධාවනය කරවන ලෙස පොලිසිය රියදුරන්ගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියි.

Rockslide Disrupts Traffic on Hatton-Nuwaraeliya Main Road

A sudden rockslide has severely impacted traffic on the Hatton-Nuwaraeliya main road, isolating a section of the route since the afternoon of April 4. The landslide occurred around 5:30 PM in the Kuthugama area, prompting a traffic restriction that limits movement to a single lane.

The local police reported that the rockslide has obstructed both directions of travel, leading to delays for commuters and vehicles. Authorities are urging drivers to exercise caution and reduce speed while navigating the affected area, especially given the ongoing rainfall which has made conditions even more precarious.

Motorists are advised to remain vigilant and drive carefully as efforts to clear the blockage are underway. The police continue to monitor the situation closely, ensuring public safety while facilitating smooth transportation for all users of the road.
