Iran Warns UK Against Granting Military Access for US Operations

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard has issued a stern warning to the United Kingdom, cautioning against providing British bases for American military aircraft to launch strikes against Iran. Such actions could escalate tensions in the region, the Guard emphasized.

According to Iranian state media, any nation that allows its territory or military facilities to be used for attacks on Iran will be considered a legitimate target for retaliation. This revelation comes amid reports that the United States is utilizing foreign bases for long-range bombing missions.

Furthermore, Iranian officials have scrutinized reports of the UK’s support for American military operations, highlighting concerns over the implications of such cooperation.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry reiterated that providing military facilities for these offensive actions will only contribute to further regional instability and could expose the UK to severe consequences.
