සබන් හදන අමුද්‍රව්‍ය ලේබලයේ දාන්නැයි කියයි...

පාරිභෝගික අයිතීන් සුරැකීමේ ජාතික ව්‍යාපාරය විසින් නිකුත් කරන ලද මාධ්‍ය නිවේදනයක් මෙහි දැක්වෙයි.

සබන් නිෂ්පාදනයට යොදා ගත් අමුද්‍රව්‍ය සබන් කැටයේ ලේබලයට ඇතුලත් කිරීමට නීති සැකසිය යුතුයි!.

සබන් නිෂ්පාදන වෙළෙඳපොලට නිකුත් කිරීමේදී ඒවායේ ඇසුරුමෙහි, නම සහ මේද ප්‍රතිශතය (TFM අගය) ප්‍රදර්ශනය කිරීම අනිවාර්‍යය කරමින් නව ගැසට් පත්‍රයක් නිකුත් කිරීමට පාරිභෝගික කටයුතු පිළිබද අධිකාරිය පසුගියදා සිකුරාදා කටයුතු කර තිබුණි. පාරිභෝගික සංවිධානයක් වශයෙන් ඒ පිළිබඳ  අපගේ සතුට පළ කරන්නෙමු.

එමෙන්ම සබන් නිෂ්පාදනයක මේද ප්‍රතිශතය මෙන්ම ඒවායෙහි අන්තර්ගත අනෙකුත් අමුද්‍රව්‍යයන් පිළිබඳ දැනුවත්වීමද පාරිභෝගිකයන්ගේ දැඩි අවශ්‍යතාවයක් වනවා පමණක් නොව එය පාරිභෝගික අයිතියකි.

එම නිසා අප සංවිධානය පාරිභෝගික කටයුතු පිළිබද අධිකාරියෙන් කාරුණිකව ඉල්ලා සිටින්නේ, සබන් නිෂ්පාදනයට   අන්තර්ගත කරන ලද සියලු අමුද්‍රව්‍ය වල විස්තරයක් දවටනයෙහි සඳහන් කිරීම අනිවාර්යය කරමින් නව ගැසට් පත්‍රයක් නිකුත් කිරීමටද කටයුතු කරන ලෙසයි.

New Regulations Mandate Transparency in Soap Ingredient Labeling

The National Consumer Affairs Authority is taking significant steps to enhance consumer rights with the recent issuance of a media statement regarding soap production. New regulations are set to ensure that materials used in soap manufacturing must be explicitly mentioned on the product labels.

The authority has announced a new gazette, making it mandatory for soap products to clearly display their names and total fatty matter (TFM) percentage on their packaging upon reaching the market. This development has been welcomed by consumer organizations, which express gratitude for this proactive measure.

Beyond the TFM content, consumer groups emphasize that it is not only a pressing need but also a fundamental consumer right to be informed about all other materials included in soap products.

In light of this, the organization is urging the National Consumer Affairs Authority to issue a gazette that mandates the inclusion of detailed descriptions of all ingredients used in soap production on the packaging, ensuring transparency for consumers.
