මාධ්‍ය වෙත අදහස් දක්වමින් මන්ත්‍රීවරයා කියා සිටියේ, විපක්ෂය කොතරම් උත්සාහ කළ ද ආණ්ඩුව හෝ කිසිදු විෂයභාර අමාත්‍යවරයෙකු සිය ධුරවලින් ඉල්ලා අස්විය යුතු නැති බවයි.

රජය සිය වගකීම් නිසි පරිදි ඉටු කරමින් සිටින බව ඔහු මෙහිදී අවධාරණය කළේය.

"විපක්ෂය දැන් ඉන්නේ ලොකු කලබලයක. ඔවුන් බලන්නේ කොහොම හරි ආණ්ඩුව වට්ටන්නයි. ඒ වෙනුවෙන් විවිධ කුමන්ත්‍රණ කරනවා. නමුත් අපි අපේ වගකීම් හරියට කරනවා. ඒ නිසා ආණ්ඩුවවත්, අමාත්‍යවරුන්වත් අස්වෙන්න ඕන නැහැ. ඇත්තටම අස්වෙන්න ඕන විපක්ෂයයි," යනුවෙන් ද මන්ත්‍රීවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය.

The political landscape is witnessing considerable turmoil, with MP Chandana Suriyarachchi highlighting the current distress within the opposition. He alleges that they are resorting to various plots aimed at toppling the government.

In a recent statement to the media, Suriyarachchi emphasized that despite the opposition's concerted efforts, the government and its ministers are in no position to resign from their posts. He underscored the administration's commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities effectively.

"The opposition is engulfed in significant confusion. Their primary focus is on finding any means to destabilize the government, engaging in several conspiracies along the way. However, we are dedicated to our responsibilities, which means that neither the government nor the ministers need to step down. In fact, it is the opposition that ought to reconsider its position," he further asserted.
